Fills and Reveals

Doing the will of God is hard on the flesh but not doing it is hard on the heart. The will of God is to love and the will of the flesh is selfishness. People that put themselves first are selfish and will suffer an unfulfilled heart. But people that choose to love first will have to suffer the crucifixion of self. So there will be suffering. It can’t be avoided but the type of suffering can be chosen. Suffer in the flesh or suffer in the spirit.

It’s not comfortable or desirable to the flesh to put God and others first, but it is right. And if you don’t do what’s right then you won’t feel right. Not that you don’t need to take care of yourself because you do. But if yourself is the only one you’re taking care of, then you’re not really taking care of yourself, but self serving to the destruction of self. Because selfishness is never satisfied, it’s like leeches within, sucking the life out of the heart leaving it in atrophy unfulfilled.

But when love is revealed it fills and fulfills. God’s love to you and through you is perfected in you. And sometimes it hurts the flesh to love but it heals the heart. Love flows in, the love flows out it’s the life blood of life and what it’s all about.

The commandment is love,
Simply what’s right,
God’s gift from above,
A yoke easy and light.

True love revealed,
Fills and fulfills,
Broken heart heals,
Fills and reveals.

Matt 11:28-30
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
NKJV

1 John 5:3-4
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
NKJV

Matt 22:37-40
37 Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'
NKJV

Rom 13:8
8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
NKJV

Rom 8:4-5
4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
NKJV

Eph 5:1-2
5 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
NKJV

Gal 5:22-25
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
NKJV

Eph 3:14-21
14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
NKJV

1 John 4:12
12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

Eye of the Storm

I feel Overwhelmed,
Within and Without,
And so I Cry Out!
to the Almighty about –
What’s Without,
and Something Changes,
Within.

For I Know,
That there is Someone,
In Me,
Greater than me.

When I am Weak,
He is Strong,
When I Can’t,
He Can.
&
What’s impossible for me,
Is possible with God.

I’m in God!
He’s in me,
And He said that He,
Will never leave,
Or forsake me.

And I Know He is True,
And so I know that - I CAN DO,
All things - through Christ
Who Strengthens me!

Ps 56:9
9 When I cry out to You,
Then my enemies will turn back;
This I know, because God is for me.
NKJV

Ps 56:9
9 The very day I call for help, the tide of battle turns. My enemies flee! This one thing I know: God is for me!

Heb 5:7
7 who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear,
NKJV

James 5:16b
The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].
AMP
Psalm 143
1 Hear my prayer, O Lord,
Give ear to my supplications!
In Your faithfulness answer me,
And in Your righteousness.
2 Do not enter into judgment with Your servant,
For in Your sight no one living is righteous.

3 For the enemy has persecuted my soul;
He has crushed my life to the ground;
He has made me dwell in darkness,
Like those who have long been dead.
4 Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me;
My heart within me is distressed.

5 I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all Your works;
I muse on the work of Your hands.
6 I spread out my hands to You;
My soul longs for You like a thirsty land.
Selah

7 Answer me speedily, O Lord;
My spirit fails!
Do not hide Your face from me,
Lest I be like those who go down into the pit.
8 Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You.

9 Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies;
In You I take shelter.
10 Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness.

11 Revive me, O Lord, for Your name's sake!
For Your righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.
12 In Your mercy cut off my enemies,
And destroy all those who afflict my soul;
For I am Your servant.
NKJV

1 John 4:4
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
NKJV

2 Cor 12:8-10
8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
NKJV

Heb 4:16
16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

John 15:1-8
15 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
NKJV

Heb 13:5-6
5 Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not,[I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down ( relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] [Josh 1:5.]

6 So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? [Ps 27:1; 118:6.]

I CAN! CHANT

There’s so much stuff that I could do!
So how do I know what I should do?
I’ll pray everyday and be bold to obey,
And that’s how I’ll do what He would do.

“The noble man makes noble plans,
and by noble deeds he stands.” (Isa 32:8NIV)

With God I CAN! I won’t say, “I can’t.” (Mk 10:27)
I’ll sing it, shout it, - make a chant!

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!” (Php 4:13)
That’s what I say, that’s how I’ll be.

“With God we will gain the victory,
and he will trample down our enemies.”
Ps 60:12 NIV

Here’s a simple system to get you through,
To help you do what you should do –
Pray everyday and be bold to obey!
Itemize – Prioritize – Strategize - and Exercise!

PIE
P - Pray –Talk and listen, read and write.
I - Itemize – Write it down! - a list admonitions and hints.
Prioritize – Put first things first.
Strategize – Make a script and schedule to succeed.
E - Exercise – Action! - ACT it out, Do it!

PIE to PLAY

“All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts…”
Shakespeare

Eat PIE everyday to Act in the Play.

PIE! But what is PIE, and why should I, give it a try?

PIE is the protocol for peace and prosperity. It is the way - to fulfill – God’s Will.

And…

God’s Will is GOOD!
So fulfill it you should.
As His Will is fulfilled,
Your joy is revealed!
So pray everyday,
And be bold to obey!

PIE stands for PRAY, ITEMIZE and EXERCISE. It’s easy to see but hard to apply, and takes dedication to DO and not just to “try.”

P.I.E.
P - Pray and fellowship with God everyday!
I - Itemize - Write down the plan, and make it plain.
E - Exercise - Put the plan in motion.

This is a circular formula that repeats itself every day.

1. Pray
2. Plan
3. Perform

PRAY

To pray is fellowship and communicate with God! It involves TALKING and LISTENING. But how is it done? You can simply talk to God in your own words, you can talk to Him 'in your heart', you can offer praise and worship or pray 'in the spirit'. A simple way to LISTEN is to READ and WRITE. Read His Word and write down what God is saying to you. As you talk and listen and read and write it’s good to JOURNAL so you can articulate the communication into something your mind can understand. You 'tune in' and put your hand to what comes out. It may be a saying, image, scripture, or inspiration that comes alive in your heart.

ITEMIZE - PLAN

The old use of the word "item" refers to an admonition or hint, or a bit of news or information. As you pray you get items for your “to do” list. This is more of an art more than a since because the communication is usually not direct. You have to "Get the Hint!" As you pray the Lord impresses things on your heart. You seem to get a desire to do something. Or you may sense apprehension or warnings about certain situations that you need to change or avoid. So you make a LIST of the hints, admonitions and information. The list is your SCRIPT for the day. Now how will we act it out? You need to P.S. it. Which stands for PRIORITIZE and STRATEGIZE. You need to put first things first and this again involves prayer as you get THE PLAN prioritized for the day. Then once the script is written and organized it's time for you to ACT.

EXERCISE – PERFORM “ACTION!”

To exercise is to plan into action, to perform it. And that is how you fulfill God's will. The actual exercise requires diligence, dedication and discipline. It’s not enough to just know but you also must DO. And not only do but also keep on DOING day by day. For that is the way to walk in the Way!

PRAY EVERYDAY AND BE BOLD TO OBEY!

CALL 333
Jer 33:3
'Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'
NKJV

Heb 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
NKJV

WRITE IT DOWN
Hab 2:2
Then the Lord answered me and said:

"Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
NKJV

DO IT!
James 1:22-25
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Give to Joy, Keep to Weep

It’s tempting to withhold in times of trouble but lack of outgo leads to lack of income. Not that we should try to give beyond our means but we need to be diligent to keep our hearts right and be willing to do what we can to help others. “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” (Prov 4:23) In other words, a generous heart leads to a wealthy life and a stingy heart to a stagnant life. You always be blessed in being a blessing, but if you only help yourself then all you’ll get is what you’ve already got. What you sow you’ll also reap, give to joy, keep to weep. “And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”(Acts 20:35) When you yield to the temptation not to sow, the field goes fallow and crops don’t grow, the heart gets cold, the outlook dim, for without giving the future’s grim. Because you we’re created to give of what you’ve got, and even if - it’s not a lot, the heart’s fulfilled when you share, and show someone else - that you care. And the more fulfilled the more to give, this is the life you were made to live!

Prov 11:24-25
24 There is one who scatters, yet increases more;
And there is one who withholds more than is right,
But it leads to poverty.
25 The generous soul will be made rich,
And he who waters will also be watered himself.
NKJV

Prov 11:24-25
24 One man gives freely, yet gains even more;
another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.
25 A generous man will prosper;
he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.
NIV

Luke 6:37-38
37 "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."
NKJV

Luke 6:37-38
37 "Don't pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults — unless, of course, you want the same treatment. Don't condemn those who are down; that hardness can boomerang. Be easy on people; you'll find life a lot easier. 38 Give away your life; you'll find life given back, but not merely given back — given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity."
MES

Gal 6:7-10
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
NKJV
