My God, in Him I will trust."

Just Breathe

The inspired days are easy, but it’s on the uninspired that you need the inspiration. Some days your sails are full and you feel unstoppable and others it’s like you’re set on a sea of glass waiting for the wind. Don’t be sullen, just breathe it in and take time to reflect - upon where you’ve been. God has not brought you this far to leave you here, remember all He’s done, there’s naught to fear. He will always be with you and not forsake, more sure than - the next breath you take.

Inspiration
1 a breathing in, as of air into the lungs; inhaling
2 an inspiring or being inspired mentally or emotionally
3 a) an inspiring influence; any stimulus to creative thought or action b) an inspired idea, action, etc.
4 a prompting of something to be written or said
5 Theol. a divine influence upon human beings, as that resulting in the writing of the Scriptures

NKJV

Ezek 37:1-10
37 The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?"

So I answered, "O Lord God, You know."

4 Again He said to me, "Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: "Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord."'"

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.

9 Also He said to me, "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, 'Thus says the Lord God:"Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live."'" 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.
NKJV

Heb 13:5b
…for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not,[I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down ( relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] [Josh 1:5.]

Perfect

The universal language is love. People respond to it and even animals understand it. The more you believe it, receive it, give it and the live it the more of a blessing you will become. But if you’re love-less and lazy and join the rabble your life will be a bunch of babble.

Gen 11:1-9
11 Now the whole earth had one language and one speech. 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. 3 Then they said to one another, "Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly." They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. 4 And they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth."

5 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. 6 And the Lord said, "Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. 7 Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another's speech." 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. 9 Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.
NKJV

1 Cor 13
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
NKJV

Col 3:12-15
12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
NKJV

1 John 2:5-6
5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
NKJV

Eph 5:1-2
5 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
NKJV

1 John 4:12
12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

Puny or Proficient?

The word for today is “repeat” because the Word that you wield is your sword and your shield. To be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might the Words that He gives you must learn to recite. Do it over and over until you get it right, meditate day and night and bring forth the light. Repeat it often to increase in skill - with power and authority His Will fulfill.

John 6:63-64
63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
NKJV

14 But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.

NKJV

Ps 18:28-30
28 For You will light my lamp;
The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
29 For by You I can run against a troop,
By my God I can leap over a wall.

The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

4 He shall cover you with His feathers,

His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,

And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
NKJV

Josh 1:5-9
5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. 7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

Phil 4:4
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Make the Most

“Make the Most High your dwelling” and “make the most of every opportunity.”

opportune
c.1400, from L. opportunus "favorable," from the phrase ob portum veniens "coming toward a port," in reference to the wind, from ob "to, toward" + portus "harbor."

The time is right and there’s a favorable wind for coming into port and the port is a place of prosperity. It’s always a good time to “do good” and you know what you sow you will also reap, so in your sowing don’t be cheap. “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

Ps 91:9-13
9 If you make the Most High your dwelling —
even the Lord, who is my refuge —
10 then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 "Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation."
NIV

Col 4:5-6
5 Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.
NIV

Col 4:2-6
2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; 3 meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, 4 that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. 6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
NKJV

Gal 6:7-10
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
NKJV

Acts 10:38
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
NKJV

Acts 10:38
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
NKJV

Rom 12:21
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
NKJV

2 Cor 9:6-15
6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 9 As it is written:

"He has dispersed abroad,
He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever."

10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, 11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. 12 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, 13 while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men, 14 and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. 15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

GO

DO WHAT YOU KNOW! You’ll know as you go.

Because you can’t do what you don’t know. And if you don’t go, you won’t learn what you need to know or be where you need to be to see what you need to see.

You can waste a lot of time and energy trying to figure out what you don’t know. Because the enemy wants to get you caught up in and focused on your own ignorance. But it’s futile and foolish to sit around and think about what you don’t know.

What you don’t know to do doesn’t matter to you, what’s important to you is what you do know to do. So GO -DO WHAT YOU KNOW! You’ll know as you go.

Gen 12:1-3
12 Now the Lord had said to Abram:

"Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father's house,
To a land that I will show you.
2 I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
NKJV

Heb 11:8
8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
NKJV

Acts 9:6
6 So he, trembling and astonished, said, "Lord, what do You want me to do?"

Then the Lord said to him, "Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do."
NKJV

Ps 32:8-9
8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye.
9 Do not be like the horse or like the mule,
Which have no understanding,
Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle,
Else they will not come near you.

The WILL

The enemy will come to steal and contest,
And try to choke out what God expressed,
So contend for God’s will, to obtain His best,
By His Word, you’re already abundantly blessed!
The Promise was given, but must be possessed.

OCCUPY and ENFORCE

You have been raised up and seated together with Christ FAR ABOVE all the power of the enemy. You have received the Spirit of the conquering King, now the Almighty abides within. The King has given you His dominion – King-dom. You have power and authority to trample on the enemy, cast him out and set the captives free. Go forth and preach the glorious gospel and posses the land with a mighty hand.

“The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord's; But the earth He has given to the children of men. (Ps 115:16) God has given us the earth and so we shall “be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might” and “fight the good fight” and drive the enemy from the face of it. We have been deployed and we will not stop until he’s utterly destroyed. Our Lord and King has enlisted and empowered us with all His excellence and is waiting for us to make our enemy His footstool. He is the Head and we are the body and so we shall boldly bash Satan and crush him under our feet. We will occupy and enforce until the King returns with the rest of His Army upon the white horse.

Eph 1:19-23
19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
NKJV

Eph 2:6
6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, …“FAR ABOVE all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.” (Eph 1:21)

Dan 7:26-27
26 'But the court shall be seated,
And they shall take away his dominion,
To consume and destroy it forever.
27 Then the kingdom and dominion,
And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.'
NKJV

Rev 12:7-12
And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,"Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time."
NKJV

Dan 7:21-22
21 "I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, 22 until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.

Matt 6:9-13
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
NKJV

Rev 19:11-21
11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven,"Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, 18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great."

19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
NKJV

1 Cor 15:24-27
24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
NKJV

1 Cor 15:53-58
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."

55 "O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?"

56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

If you SAY SO!

Awesome benefits are available for but they’re not automatic. There’s a process required to receive any kind of benefit, natural or supernatural. You must trust that they are true and believe before you can receive, if you don’t then you won’t even apply. And so even though natural and divine advantages are available and actually already belong to you they will profit you nothing unless you believe and take the steps necessary to receive.

Step One: Believe – What does the Book say?
Step Two: Fill out the claim form. Note: God uses a verbal claim service.

Deut 30:14
14 But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.
NKJV

Ps 103:1-5
103 Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
NKJV

Ps 103:1-5
1 BLESS (AFFECTIONATELY, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name!

2 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits —

3 Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases,

4 Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy;

5 Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle's [strong, overcoming, soaring]! [Isa 40:31.]

Ps 107:2-9
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,
3 And gathered out of the lands,
From the east and from the west,
From the north and from the south.

4 They wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way;
They found no city to dwell in.
5 Hungry and thirsty,
Their soul fainted in them.
6 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
And He delivered them out of their distresses.
7 And He led them forth by the right way,
That they might go to a city for a dwelling place.
8 Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
9 For He satisfies the longing soul,
And fills the hungry soul with goodness.
NKJV

Rom 10:8-13
8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Destroy!

Sickness - my enemy,
God’s blood was shed,
to destroy thee,
and set me free,
I AM REDEEMED,
stay away from me.
Jesus bore my sickness,
and carried my pain,
I will never yield
- to you again!

Ps 107:2
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,
NKJV

Luke 1:68-75
68 "Blessed is the Lord God of Israel,
For He has visited and redeemed His people,
69 And has raised up a horn of salvation for us
In the house of His servant David,
70 As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets,
Who have been since the world began,
71 That we should be saved from our enemies
And from the hand of all who hate us,
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers
And to remember His holy covenant,
73 The oath which He swore to our father Abraham:
74 To grant us that we,
Being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
Might serve Him without fear,
75 In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.

And carried our sorrows;

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
NKJV

Matt 8:16-17

NKJV

Luke 13:10-17
10 Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. 11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. 12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, "Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity." 13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

14 But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd,"There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day."

15 The Lord then answered him and said, "Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it? 16 So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound — think of it — for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?" 17 And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.

15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

NKJV

Acts 3:11-16
11 Now as the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch which is called Solomon's, greatly amazed. 12 So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: "Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? 13 The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go. 14 But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, 15 and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses. 16 And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
NKJV

Acts 4:9-10
9 If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well, 10 let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.

ONE

The same Spirit that created the heavens and the earth, made a covenant with Abraham, appeared to Moses and anointed David to be King also abides inside of you. It’s the same Spirit by which Jesus Himself was led and raised from the dead. But God didn’t just appear to you or only anoint you but actually became one with you in Spirit. And it’s not by the law that the Almighty sets you free from sin and all the deadly effects therein, but by the blood of the Savior and His Spirit within. And “as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”

John 1:12
12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
NKJV

Gal 4:6-7
6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"

Wrong or Right, Darkness or Light?

Walk in love and put on the armor Light. Being judgmental and condescending is hate and evil the blackest of night.

Many “Christians” are quick to judge others for their “wickedness” while they themselves exhibit evil. The greatest sin is not some action of the flesh but having hate in the heart when the Almighty commanded love.

You may justify yourself and say, “We don’t hate” but if your actions don’t agree your words don’t relate.

For love is not merely what you say but what you do, and the commandment is simple - Do unto others as God did unto you.

Rom 5:8-9
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
NKJV

John 13:34
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

To bring out prisoners from the prison,
Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.
NKJV

Isa 42:16
6 I will bring the blind by a way they did not know;

And not forsake them.

22 "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
NKJV

Luke 11:34-36
34 The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. 35 Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness. 36 If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light."

35 Then Jesus said to them, "A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going. 36 While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light."

Anointed

Let your mind be – slippery. Ancient wrestlers, who usually wrestled to the death also used to cover themselves with oil.

Eph 6:10-13
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Destruction or Delight

Obedience opens the door for blessing and disobedience the door for distress and destruction. Its woe to you when you know the right thing to do but don’t do it. If you do what’s good and right you will walk in the de-light, if you do what’s evil and wrong you’ll be singin blues song. There is no what if, exception or possibly maybe, that’s how its always been and the way it is baby.

Deut 11:26-28
"Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: 27 the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; 28 and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.
NKJV

Deut 28:1-2
28 "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:
NKJV

Deut 28:45-46

NKJV

Deut 30:1-10
30 "Now it shall come to pass, when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the Lord your God drives you, 2 and you return to the Lord your God and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul, 3 that the Lord your God will bring you back from captivity, and have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the nations where the Lord your God has scattered you. 4 If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you. 5 Then the Lord your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers. 6 And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. 7 "Also the Lord your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you. 8 And you will again obey the voice of the Lord and do all His commandments which I command you today. 9 The Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good. For the Lord will again rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers, 10 if you obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
NKJV

Deut 30:19-20
19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; 20 that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them."

19 If you are willing and obedient,
You shall eat the good of the land;
20 But if you refuse and rebel,
You shall be devoured by the sword";
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
NKJV

Rom 2:7-9
7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness — indignation and wrath, 9 tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek;
NKJV

6 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

Just a Thought

Thoughts are like bullets, they can either feed ya or bleed ya, kill ya or fill ya. Properly directed they can protect and produce life, misdirected - death and strife. You have the power to conceive, believe and receive or to imagine, deploy and destroy. Letting evil thoughts reside in your head like letting a band of convicted criminals live in your house and saying, “Hey, anyone wanna play with my guns?” But if you will cast them out, and let God and His thoughts abide within, it will produce “life more abundantly” – and better than it’s ever been.

God’s intent is ascent.
He wants to possess you and take you higher than you’ve ever went.
To raise you up far above all the thoughts of the Devil,
to His way of thinking - a much higher level.
To divinely inspire and fill you with fire –
Almighty within, so you never tire.
Abide in His Truth and it will set you free,
And produce Life – more abundantly.

John 10:10
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
KJV

Gen 6:5-8
5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7 So the Lord said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them." 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
NKJV

Isa 55:6-9
6 Seek the Lord while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near.

And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the Lord,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.

8 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord.
9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

10 "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
12 "For you shall go out with joy,
And be led out with peace;
The mountains and the hills
Shall break forth into singing before you,
And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree,
And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree;
And it shall be to the Lord for a name,
For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off."

Jer 6:19
19 Hear, O earth!
Behold, I will certainly bring calamity on this people —
The fruit of their thoughts,
Because they have not heeded My words
Nor My law, but rejected it.

20 Wisdom calls aloud outside;
She raises her voice in the open squares.
21 She cries out in the chief concourses,
At the openings of the gates in the city
She speaks her words:
22 'How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity?
For scorners delight in their scorning,
And fools hate knowledge.
23 Turn at my rebuke;
Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you.
24 Because I have called and you refused,
I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded,

25 Because you disdained all my counsel,
And would have none of my rebuke,
26 I also will laugh at your calamity;
I will mock when your terror comes,
27 When your terror comes like a storm,
And your destruction comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.

28 "Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;
They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.
29 Because they hated knowledge
And did not choose the fear of the Lord,
30 They would have none of my counsel
And despised my every rebuke.
.
31 Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way,
And be filled to the full with their own fancies.
32 For the turning away of the simple will slay them,
And the complacency of fools will destroy them;
33 But whoever listens to me will dwell safely,
And will be secure, without fear of evil."

16 So Jesus said, "Are you also still without understanding? 17 Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. 20 These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man."

Heb 4:11-13
11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

2 Cor 10:3-5
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

ENTHUSIASM!

Your life will be about as exciting as you are, and you can always find something to be thrilled about, so how about some ENTHUSIASM! Webster’s gives the root for the word enthusiasm as:

(Gr. enthousiasmos < enthousiazein, to be inspired, be possessed by a god, inspire < enthous, entheos, possessed by a god < en-, in + theos, god: see THEO-)

And the definition of enthusiasm as:

1 [Historical] supernatural inspiration or possession; inspired prophetic or poetic ecstasy
2 [Obs.] religious fanaticism
3 intense or eager interest; zeal; fervor
4 something arousing such interest or zeal
—SYN PASSION

HA, HA! It’s possible to GET POSSESSED on purpose. So who or what possesses you? Is it some little “god,” like fear or dismay, or the One and only Almighty - to whom you pray?

The enemy wants to be like a god and possess, but he’s supernaturally uninspiring and the dictator of discouragement. He likes to possess with stress and oppress. He’ll take whatever you will give him dement it. But you were not meant for dement, the only True God has another intent.

God’s intent is ascent. He wants to possess you and take you where you’ve never went. To raise you up far above all the thoughts of the Devil, to His way of thinking - a much higher level. To divinely inspire and fill you with fire – Almighty abiding within, so you never tire.

Isa 40:28-31
28 Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
NKJV

1 Cor 3:16-17
16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

1 John 4:4-5
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
NKJV

Phil 4:13
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
NKJV

Eph 3:14-21
14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

The Standard

“When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.” Isa 59:19

WEB. standard
1 any figure or object, esp. a flag or banner, used as an emblem or symbol of a leader, people, military unit, etc.; specif., a) Heraldry a long, tapering flag used as an ensign, as by a king b) Mil. the colors of a cavalry unit

Your standard is made up of God’s Name, His Word and His blood, which precede the manifestation of His Glory. God’s Spirit is upon you and He has anointed you to herald the victory. When you declare His Name, His Word and His Blood you hold up the banner of His Kingdom. And where His banner is He is. His Name, Word and Blood have already bought and brought liberty, and are the armory for victory.

The Word that you wield is your Sword and your Shield, by it the Standard held and the Glory revealed.

Isa 59:14 – 60:3
14 Justice is turned back,
And righteousness stands afar off;
For truth is fallen in the street,
And equity cannot enter.
15 So truth fails,
And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.
Then the Lord saw it, and it displeased Him
That there was no justice.
16 He saw that there was no man,
And wondered that there was no intercessor;
Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him;
And His own righteousness, it sustained Him.
17 For He put on righteousness as a breastplate,
And a helmet of salvation on His head;
He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing,
And was clad with zeal as a cloak.
18 According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay,
Fury to His adversaries,
Recompense to His enemies;
The coastlands He will fully repay.
19 So shall they fear
The name of the Lord from the west,
And His glory from the rising of the sun;
When the enemy comes in like a flood,
The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

20 "The Redeemer will come to Zion,
And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,"
Says the Lord.

21 "As for Me," says the Lord, "this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants' descendants," says the Lord, "from this time and forevermore."

1 Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
3 The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
NKJV

2 Cor 1:21-22
21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

Mark 16:19-20
19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.
NKJV

Rev 12:10-11
10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
NKJV

Phil 4:19-20
19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

TRUST

Learn a hard lesson or learn the lesson the hard way. Trust none but One! True trust is “total reliance upon” and we can’t completely rely on anything or anyone but One. Trust is synonymous with faith and we should not have faith in man, money or machine. Our trust is in God and in Him alone. If you’ve ever trusted in anything else, including yourself then you’ve already been disappointed.

Naturally, I like to trust people and consider myself trustworthy. But God seems to be showing me that to truly trust all my faith must be in Him and none else. That He wants the totality of my trust. The when I completely trust Him with myself I can also trust Him with others. It’s hard for me to learn not to trust people, but I can trust the God who works in them. And only to the degree that He works in them I can rely on them.

TRUST is total reliance upon the Savior and His Truth.

It seems to me the Bible actually teaches us not to trust in people or things. Trust in self, others or anything else is a form of idolatry. But there is only one Savior. And if I’ve become attached to my idol, even though it doesn’t answer, then it’s hard to destroy it. But to have true trust, destroy false trust I must.

This is a hard lesson for me that I’ve also learned the hard way. And the people that are most attached to their idols / security blankets scream the loudest when you try to take them away. But I think it’s time to give up the “Binkie” don’t you?

So my next question is, if I can’t trust in man then what do I do with them? How do I deal with people and their fallible flesh? I think the answer is mercy and forgiveness. And if I’m not expecting them to be perfect, then I won’t be so disappointed when they’re inevitably not. And it seems wrong to not trust in people, but I think it’s actually right and sets me free to love them unconditionally. Should I love the people more, that I supposedly trust more? This is not God’s way. So I’ve decided to trust none but One. Because God didn’t tell me to trust people but He did tell me to love them.

Isa 45:20-21
20 "Assemble yourselves and come;
Draw near together,
You who have escaped from the nations.
They have no knowledge,
Who carry the wood of their carved image,
And pray to a god that cannot save.
21 Tell and bring forth your case;
Yes, let them take counsel together.
Who has declared this from ancient time?
Who has told it from that time?
Have not I, the Lord?
And there is no other God besides Me,
A just God and a Savior;
There is none besides Me.

NKJV

Jer 17:5-6
5 Thus says the Lord:

"Cursed is the man who trusts in man
And makes flesh his strength,
Whose heart departs from the Lord.
6 For he shall be like a shrub in the desert,
And shall not see when good comes,
But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,
In a salt land which is not inhabited.

7 "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

Cheers!

I will have no fear, but be of good cheer,
For God Almighty lives in here.
His promise is clear, He is my financier,
And I’ve made the choice to rejoice all the year.

He’s given me His very own Spirit to drink,
And His Word, upon which to think.
In this I invite you - to be my peers,
To one and to all, now I say, “Cheers!”

4 But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5 For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Arise and walk'? 6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins" — then He said to the paralytic, "Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house." 7 And he arose and departed to his house.

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Don’t be thinking about what you shouldn’t but what you should, not what you can’t but what you could. Because you can always do good - if you would. Your will makes the way so what will you will today? It begins within, think sin and sin, or think win and win.

SELAH

You may need a reprieve to help you believe. So “Selah” – pause and calmly think of that. Think of what? Consider your creator, cast out the low thoughts and think about what God said instead.

Isa 55:6-11
6 Seek the Lord while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near.
7 Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the Lord,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.

1 GOD IS our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble.

2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken into the midst of the seas,

3 Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling and tumult. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

4 There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.

5 God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God will help her right early [at the dawn of the morning].

6 The nations raged, the kingdoms tottered and were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted.

Psalm 143
1 HEAR MY prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications! In Your faithfulness answer me, and in Your righteousness.

2 And enter not into judgment with Your servant, for in Your sight no man living is [in himself] righteous or justified. [Ps 130:3; Rom 3:20-26; Gal 2:16.]

3 For the enemy has pursued and persecuted my soul, he has crushed my life down to the ground; he has made me to dwell in dark places as those who have been long dead.

4 Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed and faints within me [wrapped in gloom]; my heart within my bosom grows numb.

5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your doings; I ponder the work of Your hands.

6 I spread forth my hands to You; my soul thirsts after You like a thirsty land [for water]. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

7 Answer me speedily, O Lord, for my spirit fails; hide not Your face from me, lest I become like those who go down into the pit (the grave).

8 Cause me to hear Your loving-kindness in the morning, for on You do I lean and in You do I trust. Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift up my inner self to You.

9 Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies; I flee to You to hide me.

10 Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; let Your good Spirit lead me into a level country and into the land of uprightness.

11 Save my life, O Lord, for Your name's sake; in Your righteousness, bring my life out of trouble and free me from distress.

12 And in your mercy and loving-kindness, cut off my enemies and destroy all those who afflict my inner self, for I am Your servant.

Bail Out?

Don’t just ask God to help you do what you want to do, but ask Him to help you want to do what you need to do. Because you don’t always want to do what you need to, but if you could see the effect of your actions you would.

If you want to prosper and be healthy don’t just pray for prosperity and good health. God has already given you an abundance of health and wealth. If you misuse it you’ll lose it but if you sow it you’ll grow it. You don’t really need more money or less fat, though you may pray for both. But what you really need is discipline and a desire to do what you really need to do.

God’s not in the bail out business because He’d rather fix the hole in the boat. If you get in a predicament because of your actions then God’s solution is to help you change your actions. You may pray for deliverance, but deliverance will do you no good if you don’t change the behavior that put you in bondage. A quick fix that’s not a real fix is really no fix at all. So ask God to help you fix the hole then you can bail yourself out.

Who are you to ask God to do merely what you want Him to; do you know the future, all things construe? His plan is infinitely bigger than you, so ask Him to help you want to do what you need to do, and to have the diligence and desire to follow through. For there’s deliverance - in diligence.

“…you have need of endurance…” “…and my God shall supply all your need!”

Heb 10:35-36
35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:
NKJV

Phil 4:19
19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
NKJV

Heb 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
NKJV

Heb 6:11-12
11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
NKJV

Prov 4:23
23 Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
NKJV

3 John 2-4
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
NKJV

James 1:21
21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
NKJV

Prov 10:4
4 He who has a slack hand becomes poor,
But the hand of the diligent makes rich.
NKJV

Prov 12:24
24 The hand of the diligent will rule,
But the lazy man will be put to forced labor.
NKJV

Prov 21:5
5 The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty,
But those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty.
NKJV

Prov 24:30-34
30 I went by the field of the lazy man,
And by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding;
31 And there it was, all overgrown with thorns;
Its surface was covered with nettles;
Its stone wall was broken down.
32 When I saw it, I considered it well;
I looked on it and received instruction:
33 A little sleep, a little slumber,
A little folding of the hands to rest;
34 So shall your poverty come like a prowler,
And your need like an armed man.
NKJV

1 Cor 9:24-27
24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. 25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. 26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. 27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
NKJV
