Pray or Prey

Pray everyday like your life depended on it and then when it does you’ll know what to do. Don’t wait to pray until the day of need. Be aware and declare before you get there, if you don’t prepare, you won’t have a prayer.

Prayer is preparation and “makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]” James 5:16AMP

When you pray steady the shield and wield the Word.

The slothful soldier who waits… and neglects to seize the shield and swing the sword - until the struggle will surely suffer, and likely die in the day.

Thank God for His mercy! But how long will you cry and rely on others to keep picking you up? Are you a burden or a blessing? Are you a weak one who needs to be fought for, or are you a strong one who fights for? Fight for yourself and for others - and the way is to pray everyday and be bold to obey.

Be diligent to pray. Pray everyday like your life depended on it, and then when it does you’ll know what to do.

Ps 56:9
The very day I call for help, the tide of battle turns. My enemies flee! This one thing I know: God is for me!
TLB

The very day that I pray, the battle goes my way. My enemies flee! One thing I know: My God is for me!
Pataphrased

Rom 8:31
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Over the Edge

At least the insanity, offers some sanity,
Freedom from fetters, and demands of humanity,
Vexation – Vindication - Liberation from vanity,
At least the insanity, offers some sanity.

When there’s no escape,
Where do I go,
Across the line,
This place I know -
Beyond my mind,
Boundless frontiers,
Over the edge,
Fear disappears.

Do or do-do

When will you do what you keep thinking about doing? Repetitive thoughts are usually either leading's or temptations. If it’s good it’s probably God and is its evil it’s obviously not. And then there are just the general repetitive thoughts like, “I just keep thinking I need to check my oil” or “get the furnace ready for the winter.” Sometimes you ‘just don’t feel right’ or ‘have peace’ about a certain person or thing. That’s probably an indication that you need to do something about it, but what? Sometimes you don’t know, but it doesn’t matter what you don’t know the question is, “What do you know?” Focusing on the unknown is ignorant and useless, because you can only GO WITH WHAT YOU KNOW. Not that you can’t gain more knowledge, but you’ll never know more if you keep thinking about all the unknowns. Many times people get stuck in the stupefaction of saying or thinking, “I just don’t know what to do!” And they don’t know, and they don’t know… and it’s like the “song that doesn’t end” and “it just goes on and on my friend.”

This is the ignorance that does not end, it just goes on and on my friend, you started thinking it, not knowing what it was, and now it goes on and on forever just because… This is the ignorance that does not end…

And that’s a trap that will very surely hold you back. If all you think about is what you don’t know you might as well go rent a white room at the Insanity Inn.

If you’re led by the Almighty then it stands to reason that you generally know what you need to know when you need to know it. Don’t try to complicate it or super spiritualize it, just discern it and do it. The leading is usually so simple that you discount it because you’re looking for great things. But great things, like the Eiffel Tower for example are made up of many simple and small things. The Tower has 2,500,000 rivets holding 18,038 pieces all put together one by one. And so is your life, you can probably see the big picture but you’ll never accomplish it unless you’re persistent with all the little pieces. This is daily living and progress in made in the doing. Its many mini materials multiplied that make man monumental.

So do what you know and then you’ll know what to do, because you can’t get to step three until you do two.

James 1:22-25
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
NKJV

John 14:12
12 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
NKJV

Acts 10:38-39
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Lost-N-Found

You have to leave the found to find the lost. When found, you found the found. But how many people when found, lost the lost?

Luke 15
1 Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. 2 And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, "This Man receives sinners and eats with them." 3 So He spoke this parable to them, saying:

4 "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!' 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

8 "Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!' 10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

11 Then He said: "A certain man had two sons. 12 And the younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.' So he divided to them his livelihood. 13 And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. 14 But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. 15 Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.

17 "But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, 19 and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants."'

20 "And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.'

22 "But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. 23 And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; 24 for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' And they began to be merry.

25 "Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said to him, 'Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.'

28 "But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. 29 So he answered and said to his father, 'Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. 30 But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.'

31 "And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. 32 It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.'"
NKJV

Luke 14:34-35
34 "Salt is good; but if the salt has lost its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? 35 It is neither fit for the land nor for the dunghill, but men throw it out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"

Hungry?

I don’t feel very blog bloggity today, but I encourage you to take the time to pray, open the Word and see what the Almighty has to say, get your daily Bread and be on your way.

Matt 6:7-13
7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

8 "Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
NKJV

John 6:4-63
4 Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near. 5 Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, "Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?" 6 But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do.

7 Philip answered Him, "Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little."

8 One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to Him, 9 "There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?"

10 Then Jesus said, "Make the people sit down." Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11 And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. 12 So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, "Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost." 13 Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten. 14 Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, "This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world."

26 Jesus answered them and said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. 27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him."

28 Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?"

29 Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."

30 Therefore they said to Him, "What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, 'He gave them bread from heaven to eat.'"

32 Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world."

34 Then they said to Him, "Lord, give us this bread always."

35 And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day."

41 The Jews then complained about Him, because He said, "I am the bread which came down from heaven." 42 And they said, "Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, 'I have come down from heaven'?"

43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, "Do not murmur among yourselves. 44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God.' Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. 46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world."

52 The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, "How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?"

53 Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven — not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever."

59 These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.

60 Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, "This is a hard saying; who can understand it?"

61 When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, "Does this offend you? 62 What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
NKJV

Isa 55:1-3
5 "Ho! Everyone who thirsts,
Come to the waters;
And you who have no money,
Come, buy and eat.
Yes, come, buy wine and milk
Without money and without price.
2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
And let your soul delight itself in abundance.
3 Incline your ear, and come to Me.
Hear, and your soul shall live;
And I will make an everlasting covenant with you —
The sure mercies of David.
NKJV

Matt 4:4
4 But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'"

Disillusioned?

Disillusion - to free from illusion or false ideas: disenchant (Webster’s)

Illusion
1 a false idea or conception; belief or opinion not in accord with the facts
2 an unreal, deceptive, or misleading appearance or image !a large mirror giving the illusion of space in a small room"
3 a) a false perception, conception, or interpretation of what one sees, where one is, etc. b) the misleading image resulting in such a false impression
4 HALLUCINATION
(Webster’s)

Enchant
1 to cast a spell over, as by magic; bewitch
2 to charm greatly; delight
(Webster’s)

So it seems to me that it would be good to be free from illusion and enchantment.

My Living Hell

I see in Your Word Your Power and Glory, how miracles surround and abound in your story. The Good News that you died so we could live, our torment you took Your peace to give. You bore our sickness and carried our pain, but why does the manifestation seem so hard to gain? Where are Your signs and Your wonders of old, and when will we see all we’ve believed and been told? You say you confirm you Word, but it doesn’t always seem so, what is my problem, Lord please let me know!

My heart cries and is anguish for the release of the oppressed, to deliver the downtrodden, to set free the possessed. To heal the broken hearted, that hope may be found, to bring forth Your Love and for Your life to abound. To heal all the sickness and destroy the disease, I know it’s Your will, so Lord help me PLEASE!

Something is wrong and the answer I need, teach me, correct me, Your voice I will heed. I feel if I don’t see them set free - I will die, so I continue to preach and to try and to try. But the chain remains locked and the captives in jail, to preach and then see this, is my living Hell.

I question myself, I question Your Word, to not have instant miracles seems utterly absurd. I thought I knew Your voice, and what You put in my heart but I can’t bear the pain of waiting to start. How long shall they stay bound, when we have the power to give, and remain dead, when Your Life we live?

I give up, I give in, I give all to You. Just what the hell is it, that You want me to do? Without You I am lost, I am bound, I am dead, I can’t get the thoughts of You from my head. Of You, and what I thought You called me to do. I can’t seem to accomplish it, You don’t seem to come through.

Sure there are small things, just this and that, but in the wilderness I remain and live like a rat. Surviving not thriving, believing not seeing, preaching and teaching, but the captives not freeing. When will we go over, when will we go in? The trip around this mountain I can’t bear again.

Will I die in the wilderness, Lord help my unbelief, and somehow some way, send some relief.

And so You said, that “I AM your Head, be patient my son, and give life to the dead.” But think I don’t know how, where or what to do, but You said, “Quit all your whining and just follow through.”

“Do what you know and don’t get ahead, I AM is with you, and I will do what I said.”

Isa 26:17-18
17 As a woman with child
Is in pain and cries out in her pangs,
When she draws near the time of her delivery,
So have we been in Your sight, O Lord.
18 We have been with child, we have been in pain;
We have, as it were, brought forth wind;
We have not accomplished any deliverance in the earth,
Nor have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
NKJV

Judg 6:13-16
13 Gideon said to Him, "O my lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, 'Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?' But now the Lord has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites."

14 Then the Lord turned to him and said, "Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?"

15 So he said to Him, "O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house."

16 And the Lord said to him,"Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man."
NKJV

Ex 3:11-15
11 But Moses said to God, "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?"

12 So He said,"I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain."

13 Then Moses said to God, "Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they say to me, 'What is His name?' what shall I say to them?"

14 And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'"
NKJV

Heb 5:7
7 who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear,
NKJV

Isa 66:9
9 Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?" says the Lord.
"Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?" says your God.

Isa 54:1-3
1 "Sing, O barren,
You who have not borne!
Break forth into singing, and cry aloud,
You who have not labored with child!
For more are the children of the desolate
Than the children of the married woman," says the Lord.
2 "Enlarge the place of your tent,
And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings;
Do not spare;
Lengthen your cords,
And strengthen your stakes.
3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left,
And your descendants will inherit the nations,
And make the desolate cities inhabited.
4 "Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed;
Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame;
For you will forget the shame of your youth,
And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.
5 For your Maker is your husband,
The Lord of hosts is His name;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel;
He is called the God of the whole earth.
6 For the Lord has called you
Like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit,
Like a youthful wife when you were refused,"
Says your God.
7 "For a mere moment I have forsaken you,
But with great mercies I will gather you.
8 With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment;
But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,"
Says the Lord, your Redeemer.
8 With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment;
But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,"
Says the Lord, your Redeemer.

9 "For this is like the waters of Noah to Me;
For as I have sworn
That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth,
So have I sworn
That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
10 For the mountains shall depart
And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,"
Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.

11 "O you afflicted one,
Tossed with tempest, and not comforted,
Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems,
And lay your foundations with sapphires.
12 I will make your pinnacles of rubies,
Your gates of crystal,
And all your walls of precious stones.
13 All your children shall be taught by the Lord,
And great shall be the peace of your children.
14 In righteousness you shall be established;
You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear;
And from terror, for it shall not come near you.
15 Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me.
Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake.

16 "Behold, I have created the blacksmith
Who blows the coals in the fire,
Who brings forth an instrument for his work;
And I have created the spoiler to destroy.
17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,"
Says the Lord.
NKJV

John 15:1-8
15 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

One & Everyone

Be filled with the love of the One who helps you love everyone. For True Love is Power and can not be overdone.

Mark 12:29-31
29 Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
NKJV

Overwhelmed or Overcome

Life maybe overwhelming but you can overcome. For most people there are usually more tasks than time, or bills than money, or both. So what do you do when there’s more to do then you can do? Simply PRAY AND OBEY EVERYDAY. Then when you’ve done what you can do, go on your way. Don’t fret and regret about what you haven’t done yet, just DO what God leads you to DO and you’ll make it through.

You can’t do everything at once so focus on the task at hand. Because you’re usually not overwhelmed by what you’re doing, but by considering all the things that still need to be done. Or by thinking what you’re doing is taking too long! So on the inside you start to write a sad song. But don’t compose, repose. You can control your mind. Put the past in the past and the future in the future then your present will be clean uncluttered.

The thing about things is - that you get more done, when you’re focused on one. So PRAY AND OBEY and walk in the Son.

Matt 11:28-30
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
NKJV

Matt 11:28-30
28 "Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. 29 Walk with me and work with me — watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. 30 Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."
MES

Matt 11:28-30
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]

29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest ( relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. [Jer 6:16.]

30 For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good — not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.
AMP

2 Tim 1:7
7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

I Ween In-Between

The meantime - is the in-between time,
but I ween and have seen,
that we’re always in between.
So does that mean - that all time is mean?

Does time have to be - so mean to me?
In contentment is freedom, thus I do see,
To get my focus off now, is a ploy to annoy.
So now I choose enjoy - what now I employ.

If I don’t enjoy - it’s because there’s no joy in heart,
Because decide to enjoy, I didn’t do from the start.
There’s only one now, now I must live,
And choose to enjoy - the now that He gives.

Eccl 1:9
That which has been is what will be,
That which is done will be done,
And there is nothing new under the sun.
NKJV

Eccl 2:24-25
24 Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that his soul should enjoy good in his labor. This also, I saw, was from the hand of God.
NKJV

Eccl 3:1
To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
NKJV

Eccl 3:11-13
11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

12 I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, 13 and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor — it is the gift of God.
NKJV

Eccl 3:22
22 So I perceived that nothing is better than that a man should rejoice in his own works, for that is his heritage. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him?
NKJV

Eccl 5:18-20
Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage. 19 As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor — this is the gift of God. 20 For he will not dwell unduly on the days of his life, because God keeps him busy with the joy of his heart.

DEEP

Sometimes you sit and listen, and pray and think,
but the mental slate, remains black and blank.

Don’t be agitated, enjoy this time,
Like a lake of glass the calm sublime.

Before the masterpiece, the canvas clean,
Before inspiration the mind serene.

“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Ps 46:10NKJV

7 Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls;
All Your waves and billows have gone over me.
NKJV

John 4:10-12
10 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."

11 The woman said to Him, "Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water?
NKJV

John 4:13-14
13 Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."
NKJV

1 Cor 2:9-11
9 But as it is written:

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

Masterpiece

When you feel like a bimbo in limbo,
Don’t fret or get crass,
Remember God has a plan,
And He’ll bring it to pass.

Delight yourself in the Lord,
You’re His work of art,
He’ll love you forever.
And fulfill your heart.

Ps 37:1-5
1 Do not fret because of evildoers,
Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
And wither as the green herb.

3 Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

5 Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
