Honor God? HONOR GOD!

Do you truly honor God? Do you fear and revere with all that’s dear? Is your reverence real or a show put on for mans appeal?

When you come to know God as the Almighty you will be in awe. No one will have to tell you to honor Him when you see Him as He is. For He is Awesome!

Rev 1:8
8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."
NKJV

Seek and pray, ask Him to reveal Himself as real, the LORD Almighty, to whom all will kneel.

Phil 2:8-11
8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
NKJV

Eph 1:17
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
NKJV

1 John 3:2-3
2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

Mal 1:6-12
6 "A son honors his father,
And a servant his master.
If then I am the Father,
Where is My honor?
And if I am a Master,
Where is My reverence?
Says the Lord of hosts
To you priests who despise My name.
Yet you say, 'In what way have we despised Your name?'

7 "You offer defiled food on My altar,
But say,
'In what way have we defiled You?'
By saying,
'The table of the Lord is contemptible.'
8 And when you offer the blind as a sacrifice,
Is it not evil?
And when you offer the lame and sick,
Is it not evil?
Offer it then to your governor!
Would he be pleased with you?

Mal 1:9-11
9 "But now entreat God's favor,
That He may be gracious to us.
While this is being done by your hands,
Will He accept you favorably?"
Says the Lord of hosts.
10 "Who is there even among you who would shut the doors,
So that you would not kindle fire on My altar in vain?
I have no pleasure in you,"
Says the Lord of hosts,
"Nor will I accept an offering from your hands.
11 For from the rising of the sun, even to its going down,
My name shall be great among the Gentiles;
In every place incense shall be offered to My name,
And a pure offering;
For My name shall be great among the nations,"
Says the Lord of hosts.

12 "But you profane it,
In that you say,
'The table of the Lord is defiled;
And its fruit, its food, is contemptible.'
13 You also say,
'Oh, what a weariness!'
And you sneer at it,"
Says the Lord of hosts.
"And you bring the stolen, the lame, and the sick;
Thus you bring an offering!
Should I accept this from your hand?"
Says the Lord.
14 "But cursed be the deceiver
Who has in his flock a male,
And takes a vow,
But sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished —
For I am a great King,"
Says the Lord of hosts,
"And My name is to be feared among the nations.
NKJV

Mal 1:6-14

6 "Isn't it true that a son honors his father and a worker his master? So if I'm your Father, where's the honor? If I'm your Master, where's the respect?" God-of-the-Angel-Armies is calling you on the carpet: "You priests despise me!

"You say, 'Not so! How do we despise you?'

"By your shoddy, sloppy, defiling worship.

"You ask, 'What do you mean, "defiling"? What's defiling about it?' 7 "When you say, 'The altar of God is not important anymore; worship of God is no longer a priority,' that's defiling. 8 And when you offer worthless animals for sacrifices in worship, animals that you're trying to get rid of — blind and sick and crippled animals — isn't that defiling? Try a trick like that with your banker or your senator — how far do you think it will get you?" God-of-the-Angel-Armies asks you.

9 "Get on your knees and pray that I will be gracious to you. You priests have gotten everyone in trouble. With this kind of conduct, do you think I'll pay attention to you?" God-of-the-Angel-Armies asks you. 10 "Why doesn't one of you just shut the Temple doors and lock them? Then none of you can get in and play at religion with this silly, empty-headed worship. I am not pleased. The God-of-the-Angel-Armies is not pleased. And I don't want any more of this so-called worship!

Offering God Something Hand-Me-Down, Broken, or Useless

11 "I am honored all over the world. And there are people who know how to worship me all over the world, who honor me by bringing their best to me. They're saying it everywhere: 'God is greater, this God-of-the-Angel-Armies.'

12 "All except you. Instead of honoring me, you profane me. You profane me when you say, 'Worship is not important, and what we bring to worship is of no account,' 13 and when you say, 'I'm bored — this doesn't do anything for me.' You act so superior, sticking your noses in the air — act superior to me, God-of-the-Angel-Armies! And when you do offer something to me, it's a hand-me-down, or broken, or useless. Do you think I'm going to accept it? This is God speaking to you! 14 "A curse on the person who makes a big show of doing something great for me — an expensive sacrifice, say — and then at the last minute brings in something puny and worthless! I'm a great king, God-of-the-Angel-Armies, honored far and wide, and I'll not put up with it!

HIGH

Have you lost your spiritual high? Is your praise and worship dry?

Does the Word seem old; has your heart gone cold?

Have you prayed to be restored, but all you feel - is bored?

The thing you need to do - is OBEY! What’s the last thing you remember - God had to say?

When you actually DO what He told you to you’ll be revived with life anew.

It will always pay to obey, and you can get high on that everyday!

James 1:22-25
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
NKJV

Isa 1:19-20
19 If you are willing and obedient,
You shall eat the good of the land;
20 But if you refuse and rebel,
You shall be devoured by the sword";
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
NKJV

Isa 48:17-18
17 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,
The Holy One of Israel:
"I am the Lord your God,
Who teaches you to profit,
Who leads you by the way you should go.
18 Oh, that you had heeded My commandments!
Then your peace would have been like a river,
And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
NKJV

Isa 48:17-18
17 with this Message from God,
your Redeemer, The Holy of Israel:
"I am God, your God,
who teaches you how to live right and well.
I show you what to do, where to go.
18 If you had listened all along to what I told you,
your life would have flowed full like a river,
blessings rolling in like waves from the sea.

GOOD or EVIL

God doesn’t tell you to be good just for goodness sake, but because good is the antithesis of evil. Sowing good - produces peace, prosperity and health, but knowing evil puts you in peril of pain, poverty and pestilence.

When you embrace what is good, you embrace God and His abundance of Life. But when you give in to evil you get raped by the Devil and Death and abundance of strife.

What you know is what you sow and what you sow is what you’ll know. So, sow - good or evil, and you will know it and grow it.

Good or evil, what will you choose? One you will win, the other you lose.

Gen 2:8-9
8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. 9 And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
NKJV

Gen 2:15-17
15 Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."
NKJV

Deut 30:15-20
15 "See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 16 in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. 17 But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, 18 I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. 19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; 20 that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them."
NKJV

Rom 12:21
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
NKJV

Acts 10:38
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Ps 34:8-14
8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
9 Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints!
There is no want to those who fear Him.
10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.

11 Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 Who is the man who desires life,
And loves many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil,
And your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it.
NKJV

Rom 16:19-20
19 For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil. 20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
NKJV

Matt 6:9-13
9 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
NKJV

Ps 23:4-6
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.

16 So he answered, "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them." 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, "Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Dying to Live

Jesus came and showed us how to live by dying,
Gave His life in self denying,
On the cross in God relying,
Now lives forever death defying.

God’s blood was shed to ransom thee,
Receive His will on bended knee,
Die to self by His decree,
And live His love for all to see.

What He gave He did receive,
And rose again will you believe?
And follow Him and do the same,
And live forever in Jesus name.

12 When you go out looking for your old adversaries
you won't find them —
Not a trace of your old enemies,

Loyal

Love and loyalty are better than wisdom and wealth. David was famous for being a man of war but His son Solomon for his wisdom. Both became wise and wealthy, but the mirror, mirror, on the wall said, “Solomon is the wisest and wealthiest of them all!” But in the end and in all their fame and fortune, David choose to continue to serve God but Solomon self. It’s amazing that the wisest man on earth wasn’t smart enough not to go astray. Although I believe he knew better, he followed after, and ended up being loyal to what he loved, as did David.

So in the end you will follow your heart not your head my friend. It doesn’t matter how wise and wealthy you may become, if your heart is not right you will not be a good companion - and especially not for eternity. God is looking for people with love and loyalty, for wisdom and wealth will fail in the end but true love endures forever.

You will be loyal to that which or whom you love. The One deserving eternal love and loyalty is the One who eternally loves and is absolutely loyal to you.

Deut 6:4-5
4 "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
NKJV

1 Kings 4:29-34
29 And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore. 30 Thus Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the men of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt. 31 For he was wiser than all men — than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the surrounding nations. 32 He spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs were one thousand and five. 33 Also he spoke of trees, from the cedar tree of Lebanon even to the hyssop that springs out of the wall; he spoke also of animals, of birds, of creeping things, and of fish. 34 And men of all nations, from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom, came to hear the wisdom of Solomon.
NKJV

1 Kings 10:1-9
10 Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord, she came to test him with hard questions. 2 She came to Jerusalem with a very great retinue, with camels that bore spices, very much gold, and precious stones; and when she came to Solomon, she spoke with him about all that was in her heart. 3 So Solomon answered all her questions; there was nothing so difficult for the king that he could not explain it to her. 4 And when the queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built, 5 the food on his table, the seating of his servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers, and his entryway by which he went up to the house of the Lord, there was no more spirit in her. 6 Then she said to the king: "It was a true report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom. 7 However I did not believe the words until I came and saw with my own eyes; and indeed the half was not told me. Your wisdom and prosperity exceed the fame of which I heard. 8 Happy are your men and happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom! 9 Blessed be the Lord your God, who delighted in you, setting you on the throne of Israel! Because the Lord has loved Israel forever, therefore He made you king, to do justice and righteousness."
NKJV

2 Chron 1:7-12

7 On that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, "Ask! What shall I give you?"

8 And Solomon said to God: "You have shown great mercy to David my father, and have made me king in his place. 9 Now, O Lord God, let Your promise to David my father be established, for You have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. 10 Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of Yours?"

11 Then God said to Solomon: "Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life — but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king — 12 wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before you, nor shall any after you have the like."
NKJV

1 Kings 11:1-8
11 But King Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites — 2 from the nations of whom the Lord had said to the children of Israel,"You shall not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after their gods." Solomon clung to these in love. 3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart. 4 For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David. 5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. 6 Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and did not fully follow the Lord, as did his father David. 7 Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, on the hill that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the people of Ammon. 8 And he did likewise for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods.
NKJV

1 Kings 11:9-12
9 So the Lord became angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned from the Lord God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice, 10 and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods; but he did not keep what the Lord had commanded. 11 Therefore the Lord said to Solomon, "Because you have done this, and have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant.
NKJV

1 Kings 11:4-5
4 For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David.
NKJV

Matt 6:21
21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

24 "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
NKJV

Acts 13:22-23
22 And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, 'I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.'
NKJV

BE Strong!

Trust in God, encourage yourself, be strong, and take courage!
You are strong in the Lord but you still have to “Be strong.”
You have courage but you must partake and “Take courage!”
You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, but only if you receive the strength.
You must encourage yourself because you’re the only one who can take courage for yourself.
Trust in God! Stir your self up with His Words.
Be strengthened in faith and give glory to God.
Be fully convinced that what He has promised He is also able to perform.
If you can believe and continue to believe, “All things are possible to him who believes."
The Almighty is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to His power that works in you. And it works when you believe it, receive it, and put it to work.
It won’t work if you won’t, for it is in you to do the works.
"This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."
And believe that the One whom He sent is Almighty - and He is in you.
You are one with Him, you are as I AM.
“Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.”
For you are made in His image!

Enemies?

Consider what the Lord has to say about your enemies. The forces of evil in the darkness are to be destroyed by the power of the resurrection.

"Rise up, O Lord!
Let Your enemies be scattered,
And let those who hate You flee before You."

I only made it through Psalms with the references today but may continue tomorrow. Have a blessed day and be victorious in every way!

Eph 6:10-12
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
NKJV

Gal 3:13-14
13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Gal 3:15-17
15 Brethren, I speak in the manner of men: Though it is only a man's covenant, yet if it is confirmed, no one annuls or adds to it. 16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," who is Christ.

QUICK to OBEY

How fast and responsive are you? Are you quick to obey or do you go from zero to sixty in about sixteen days? God is the Pilot within and provides power to fulfill His purpose. If you’re sluggish and slow then you don’t much Almighty power to go. So do you got pep, or are you a schlepp?

If you were the one driving your life, what would it be like you were driving? Pinto or Porsche, motorcycle or horse?

If you want power, be quick to obey with some pep in your step. He won’t accelerate the unresponsive because they’ll end up a wreck.

He takes no joy in conducting the one that’s lukewarm. But those that He knows He can trust to perform, He quickens and orchestrates beyond the norm. Till the sound of their engine is soul symphony - on fire and fast and living with glee.

Rom 8:1-11
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
NKJV

Rom 8:11
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Vivid

Enjoy where you are, when you are, and who you are. You are where you are, not where you have been, or where you will be. If you “not all there” now then you’re not at all living. In order to “be all you can be” you need to actually be there. You may be living in memories or fantasies of another time but it’s not the present reality. Now is the only time you can taste. You may savor the flavor of the past or imagine the food of the future, but you’re not actually eating it. Now is “all you can eat.” But you can starve to death in the buffet of today, if you’re stuck in yesterday or tomorrow.

You are who you are. So are you enhanced or muted? If you hide your individuality to fit in with the mass mentality you dull you own reality. But if you embrace the uniqueness in you, and let it shine through, you live in HD and bless others too. Don’t hide the gifts in you for fear of rejection, God made you to give them, and He’s your protection.

So enjoy today let the gloom fade away, and be replaced by a rainbow as you give of your ray!

Isa 60:1
Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

Yo-story

When you wake up the day is blank. Like a piece of white paper sitting on your desk. Your actions and attitudes will determine what it looks like when the day is done. Put all the pages together and you have the story of your life, your own personal history.

Will your day be a doodle or are you working a masterpiece? Will your story be unique and have glory, or will it be boring?

You’re the author, architect and artist within. Will you do something different or the same thing again?

It’s all up to you so decide what you’ll do. If you don’t make a plan for your life then someone else will, then you’ll be living for them their dreams to fulfill.

Will you be a ghost writer or author your own, will make a difference or die unknown?

Because when you’re gone, your story lives on.

Will it be read and remembered or collect or collect dust on a shelf? The person who determines its quality, is only yourself.

Prov 21:5
5 The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty,
But those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty.
NKJV

Ps 37:4
Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
NKJV

Prov 16:9
9 A man's heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps.
NKJV

Prov 16:9
9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.
KJV

Prov 16:9
9 We plan the way we want to live,
but only God makes us able to live it.
MES

Prov 16:9
9 In his heart a man plans his course,
but the Lord determines his steps.
NIV

Prov 16:9
9 We should make plans-counting on God to direct us.
TLB

Prov 16:9
9 A man may make designs for his way, but the Lord is the guide of his steps.
BBE

Ps 37:23
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way.
NKJV

So delight yourself in the Lord and He’ll give you the desires of your heart. He’ll put His plan and desires in your heart. Then if you follow your heart, your heart will plan you way and the Lord will direct your steps. But even though He gives you the direction and directs, you still have to “step on it” or you will merely “know” and not go.

Take time to know Him ~ He’ll inspire your desire ~ Step on it ~ Full throttle ~ He’ll give you the fire!

Word-N-Season

The first thing needed, is the Word for the day,
So before you go, will you stop and pray?
Better than an apple for keeping the doctor away.
By it conquer fear, and keep dismay in decay.
Armed with the Word, become predator not prey,
Victor not victim in the midst of the fray.

Confidence rises, as the Almighty advises,
Be strong in the Lord and full of surprises.
Abide in the Truth, stay and not stray,
Love the Lord completely - not just halfway.
Pray everyday and be bold to obey,
In battle array, the enemy slay.

Fear not the evil, nor try to be coy,
For on the cross Jesus became, our whipping boy.
By death defeated death, rose again for all to see,
Now His life is our life, His Word victory,
What He has spoken, His Truth employ,
In joy deploy, depression destroy.

For He’s given us all things, to richly enjoy!

Thank God for God! We change, others change, and things change, but God remains the same yesterday, today and forever. Our relationship with Him changes as we change. But He is always there loving and leading us. Sometimes we do or have done things to “draw closer to Him” but all the while He abides within. It’s not just about what we do, but being true. As we grow, if we allow ourselves to become who we were created to be, then we will be true, and we will be free. Then as we become more real, our relationship gets better, because we’re not living in illusion’s fetter.

Heb 13:8-9
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
NKJV

21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

???

There’s no note today because I’m working the prelude for a new song. So have a great day and be blessed in every way. Here’s the rough draft if you care to guess or comment on what you think it’s going to be about.

Something is stalking me
Memories mocking me
What is this haunting me
Terror now taunting me

Have I have become a prey
I need to get away
Why do you torment me?
I am in agony

Delicacies, on my plate
Ravenous, smell the bait
Pounding, my heart does race
Why am I in this place?

Death is enticing me
Slave master’s pricing me
Thoughts are dividing me
Demons, deriding me

My eyes have gone blurry
Obsessed I must hurry
Someone might see
And know I’m not free

Stumbling in the mire
Hunted by dark desire
Stick your neck in the wire
I’ll take you to the fire

“O wretched man that I am!
Who will deliver me
from this body of death?”

DESTROY

Destroy and be destroying or be destroyed by the destroyer.

Eph 6:12-13
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
NKJV

Acts 10:38-39
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
NKJV

Luke 4:33-37
33 Now in the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon. And he cried out with a loud voice, 34 saying, "Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are — the Holy One of God!"

35 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him!" And when the demon had thrown him in their midst, it came out of him and did not hurt him. 36 Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, "What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out."
NKJV

1 John 3:8
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
NKJV

John 14:12-13
12 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
NKJV

Isa 10:27
27 It shall come to pass in that day
That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder,
And his yoke from your neck,
And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.
NKJV

2 Cor 1:21
21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God,
NKJV

Jer 17:18
18 Let them be ashamed who persecute me,
But do not let me be put to shame;
Let them be dismayed,
But do not let me be dismayed.
Bring on them the day of doom,
And destroy them with double destruction!
NKJV

Ps 63:7-9
7 Because You have been my help,
Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.
8 My soul follows close behind You;
Your right hand upholds me.

9 But those who seek my life, to destroy it,
Shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
NKJV

Deut 33:27

And underneath are the everlasting arms;
He will thrust out the enemy from before you,
And will say, 'Destroy!'
