Thank God Almighty that I have faith and hope, for without these I couldn’t cope.
Some say this, and others that, but for me - loving God is where it’s at.
Not just “Believing” in, but “Abiding” in, is to know True Love, again and again.
Then truly loved I can truly live, and what I’ve received - freely give.
You can’t do anything to earn God’s love because He has already given it to you. Like it or not He loves you, because HE choose to. Not because of what you do, or don’t do, but just because - you are you. He made you to love you and He’ll never leave you. You can receive Him or reject Him but you can’t change Him. He has always loved you and always will and that’s just the way it is.
As soon as you learn to stop trying to earn what you already have you will be free. And then understanding “free” you’ll be able to freely give what you have freely received.
People that think that they’ve have earned what they’ve got tend to try to make others earn what they’ll “give.” And then it’s not giving at all but transaction, which is action based on action. Life becomes business and people become brokers of affection fearing rejection. And all because they don’t know that they already have an abundant supply of love and acceptance.
SO KNOW that YOU ARE LOVED!
It’s the Truth -Believe it!
There’s an everlasting supply,
Will you receive it?
Because if you do, you will OVERFLOW -
And what you HAVE, you will bestow!
1 John 4:7-16
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

1 Cor 13:1 – 14:1
1 If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don't love, I'm nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate.
2 If I speak God's Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, "Jump," and it jumps, but I don't love, I'm nothing.
3 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don't love, I've gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love.
4 Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.
Love doesn't strut,
Doesn't have a swelled head,
5 Doesn't force itself on others,
Isn't always "me first,"
Doesn't fly off the handle,
Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,
6 Doesn't revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
7 Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.
8 Love never dies. Inspired speech will be over some day; praying in tongues will end; understanding will reach its limit. 9 We know only a portion of the truth, and what we say about God is always incomplete. 10 But when the Complete arrives, our incompletes will be canceled.
11 When I was an infant at my mother's breast, I gurgled and cooed like any infant. When I grew up, I left those infant ways for good.
12 We don't yet see things clearly. We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!
13 But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love.
1 Go after a life of love as if your life depended on it — because it does. Give yourselves to the gifts God gives you. Most of all, try to proclaim his truth.

Jer 31:3
3 The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:
"Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

Rom 5:5-8
5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

1 John 3:1
3 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!
