Revel or Regret

Don’t waste your life in strife or your morrow in sorrow.

Time is a gift, so don’t squander it, because you never really know, how much you get.

Pray everyday and be bold to obey and that-a-way you’ll spend your time on that which is prime.

First, love God with all your heart, then people the most; then your life won’t just be good, it will be grandiose.

God’s love is enthusiastic, drastic - bombastic! Living with Him is truly fantastic!

Eph 2:4-10
4 But God — so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us,

5 Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved ( delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation).

6 And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

7 He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus.

8 For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved ( delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

9 Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]

10 For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

Be Very Wary

Some people can’t find work they enjoy; others choose to enjoy the work they have found. Attitude is more important than aptitude. Work isn’t always fun and particularly when you’re not working in the area of your inclination, but you can always choose to be happy. If you have a good attitude you will enjoy yourself and if you don’t you won’t. Because how can you enjoy yourself when yourself isn’t being enjoyable? No one likes to live with a sorrowful soul and especially when you know it’s an affliction of self. If you’re not happy it’s because you have chosen not to be, and no one can do anything about it except you. It’s a hard pill to swallow, but if this pill you will, then you will be, because you will to be - in control of your own countenance. Webster’s Dictionary says that that to complain is to claim or express pain but merry is to be full of fun and laughter. So will you complain and inflict pain or be merry and cheery, it’s all up to you so be very wary.

Phil 4:11-13
11 Actually, I don't have a sense of needing anything personally. I've learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. 12 I'm just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I've found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. 13 Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.
MES

Phil 4:11-13
11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
NKJV

Prov 14:23
23 In all labor there is profit,
But idle chatter leads only to poverty.
NKJV

Eccl 2:24
24 Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that his soul should enjoy good in his labor. This also, I saw, was from the hand of God.
NKJV

Eccl 3:9-13
9 What profit has the worker from that in which he labors? 10 I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

12 I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, 13 and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor — it is the gift of God.
NKJV

Eccl 5:18-20
18 Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage. 19 As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor — this is the gift of God. 20 For he will not dwell unduly on the days of his life, because God keeps him busy with the joy of his heart.
NKJV

Ps 90:17
17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon
us;
establish the work of our hands for us —
yes, establish the work of our hands.

Glorify

Who has the world’s best and most fanatical fans? Athletes, musicians, race drivers or other public figures, and which team or person in particular?

We love to love and identify with someone or something. It gives us a sense of belonging and the opportunity to live the vicarious victory. It’s all in good fun as long as we can stay out of strife and not be overly affected by the vicarious defeat. We have hats, t-shirts and trinkets and we give our time to support the ones we adore. And the best fans of all are the truly devoted, for who wants a halfhearted fan?

So how’s your devotion to God? Do you, identify with Him, worship Him, cheer for, and Love Him with all your heart and above all else? Align your allegiance to the Almighty! Live not in vicarious victory but true triumph by having Him in your heart. He’s on your side and you’re not just a fan but actually on His team and glorified to glorify.

Enthusiasm enables energy, lukewarmness lethargy. So don’t let the lame live in their shame but make it your aim to inspire the flame. Don’t merely observe, but get in the game, empower others also - to do the same, for God is the Greatest, and you’re called by His name!

Rom 8:28-39
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:

"For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
NKJV

Matt 5:14-16
14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
NKJV

John 15:7-8
7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
NKJV

1 Cor 6:20
20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
NKJV

1 Peter 4:10-11
10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
NKJV

2 Thess 1:11-12
11 Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, 12 that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Continually and Always

Our fellowship with God is to be continual, not “to be continued”. Jesus gave us an example when He said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me.” Our fellowship is with our Father and we should know that He always hears us; since He hears us we also ought to always hear Him. It’s not like a drama or some sitcom that we watch once and then come later because it was, “to be continued”. But it’s more like the police radios that are always on. Not that they are always talking but it’s always available and they know that by constant contact they are able to receive any information they need. It wouldn’t work well if they only turned it on sporadically when they “felt like they needed to” and yet this the way some people pray. The police need a continual connection for protection, direction and success and so do we. We don’t necessarily need to be talking all the time but we should always be listening and aware of God’s presence.

Keep your inner radio on, all day and night long, talking, listening and singing a song.
And always know; wherever you go, you and your Father are one, because of the Son.

John 11:41-42
And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me." NKJV

1 John 1:1-4
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life — 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us — 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 4 And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.
NKJV

John 10:27-30
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. 30 I and My Father are one."
NKJV

John 17:20-23
20 "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

And of Your praise all the day long.

“BUT GOD!”

Has anyone been challenged lately? You may be LOL, BWL or maybe even ROFL at that question because there just seems to be oppression in the air. Where? In the air and everywhere. BUT GOD! God is Greater than all, and He and only He is actually omnipresent and also omnipotent! His sphere of influence obviously includes you, but still - He’s given you your own will, so will you let Him be omnipotent and omnipresent in your life? Acknowledge Him not the darkness, yield to Heaven not Hell, diligently seek Him, and He will be alive in thee and you will see, “greater than He who is in the world!”

1 John 4:3-5
….this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
NKJV

Luke 10:17-20
17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name."

18 And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven."
NKJV

Eph 2:1-10
2 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

4 BUT GOD, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Get Lit!

The Spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord and the Spirit of God is Oil of the Almighty. Ask God to open your understanding to comprehend the scriptures and your heart will begin to burn within you. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. 35 Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness. 36 If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light."

Love, Love, and More Love

No matter how much “great revelation” we obtain, Love will always be the foundation of the Gospel. The root of the good news is simply, God Loves you! He Loves you with intense and everlasting love. He has always Loved you and always will. He Loves you so much He sent His only Son to die for you. And because He Loves you He has forgiven you and is not holding your sins against you. He has given you the invitation and the privilege to receive Jesus as Lord and to become one of His very own children. And as such, makes you His own heir and gives you full benefits as a member of His own household. Because He Loves you He has already blessed you with every spiritual blessing, the greatest of which is His very own Divine Love. He will continue to saturate every part of your life with His Love if you will only continue to receive it. And receive it you must, so you can trust, and truly Love Him with all your heart, soul, strength and mind. Be filled with His Love, be in Love with Him and be empowered to Love others also. Love is the greatest gift which gives you the greatest responsibility because it is the greatest commandment. And when you understand His Love you will walk in the light and be filled with His might to do what’s right and fight the good fight. “Love never fails!”

So when you get a chance take a glance; ponder and remember that the Creator is much greater than the creation and His Love for you is greater than all!

Jer 31:3, 10-14

"Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

And declare it in the isles afar off, and say,
'He who scattered Israel will gather him,
And keep him as a shepherd does his flock.'
11 For the Lord has redeemed Jacob,
And ransomed him from the hand of one stronger than he.
12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion,
Streaming to the goodness of the Lord —
For wheat and new wine and oil,
For the young of the flock and the herd;
Their souls shall be like a well-watered garden,
And they shall sorrow no more at all.

13 "Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance,
And the young men and the old, together;
For I will turn their mourning to joy,
Will comfort them,
And make them rejoice rather than sorrow.
14 I will satiate the soul of the priests with abundance,
And My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, says the Lord."

' You are not My people,'
There they shall be called sons of the living God."

GOD'S WORD

Eph 2:4-7

God’s Got an App for That!

Overlook the opportunity to be overcome by oppression by keeping your mind right by your daily session. You are like a cell phone in the aspect that you have to keep your batteries charged up. The amount of things a cell “phone” can do these days is amazing, but no matter how many apps you have none of them will work without power. The more you use the more you have to charge up, and some days you will have to plug in more than once. Likewise, you need to keep yourself charged up spiritually through prayer and meditation in the Word. Skip a few fellowship sessions and pretty soon you’ll get a low battery warning. It won’t just ting and pop up on your screen, but will probably come in the form of anger, weakness or sorrow. But it doesn’t matter what you have to face in life, God’s got an app for that! And His apps are supernatural, unlimited and awesome but they still won’t work without power. So you need to make sure you connect with God at least as often as you plug in our phone. Don’t forget to update. And when you use it let it also be a reminder that “it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” (Phil 2:13) Because if you don’t stay consciously connected, it won't be long before you start feeling neglected. But if you will live in His presence you will be protected, by His great goodness charged and affected.

John 15:1-8
15 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

Sunrise

Did anyone who reads the blog actually get up today and take time to see the sunrise? If you did, comment if you learned anything interesting. I watched it and it was inspiring but I also found it painfully slow. And I thought, well that’s the way it is when you’re seeking answers sometimes. It takes discipline to stop and pray and many times the light doesn’t just pop right on. But if you’re looking, you will be enlightened and inspired as time goes by. And it may seem like it’s taking a while, but not when you consider that you get to walk in the light of it for the rest of your life.

Prov 4:18
18 But the path of the just is like the shining sun,
That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.
NKJV

Prov 4:18
18 The ways of right-living people glow with light;
the longer they live, the brighter they shine.
MES

Prov 4:18
18 The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn,
shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
NIV

Mark 4:26-29
26 And He said, "The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, 27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. 28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. 29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come."

Morning Star

It’s harder to think when your head is horizontal. Many mornings I lie in bed and pray and look for inspiration. But before it comes the Lord usually seems to say, “Get up!”

Thank God for good and God given rest, but once the snoozin is done it’s time for the Son. The sunrise is unique and different everyday, it’s like what happens in your heart, when you rise and pray. If you don’t look for it then you won’t even see it. You may catch a glimmer here and there, but if you want to really breathe it in, you have to stop and look at it. Likewise the things in your life won’t start lookin up until you do. So get up, and look up, because peace and victory come from vertical vision. The light and life you get when you pray can take you through many gloomy a day. It may be dark and cloudy now, but can you remember a great sunrise or sunset? How does that make you feel? It’s an example of the effect of Divine inspiration upon your heart. If you take the time to take it in then you can take it with you wherever you go. Then whatever happens to happen, you don’t have to let it get you down because the revelation of the Greater One keeps you up!

So I challenge you tomorrow to rise and pray and purpose for once to take the time to see the Sunrise. It’s at 6:54AM here in Meeker, or you can check the sunrise charts online for your location. Then remember just as the Sun rises in majesty everyday, more faithful and greater is the Glory of the Son who has eternally risen, and shines in your heart when you pray.

Mal 4:2
2 But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
NKJV

Mal 4:2
2 But for you, sunrise! The sun of righteousness will dawn on those who honor my name, healing radiating from its wings. You will be bursting with energy, like colts frisky and frolicking.
MES

Mal 4:2
2 But unto you who revere and worshipfully fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings and His beams, and you shall go forth and gambol like calves [released] from the stall and leap for joy.

2 Peter 1:16-20

16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." 18 And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.

19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;

Good or Bad?

How are you? “GOOD” Well that’s what most people say but is it true? Pure good is so powerful that it can overcome all evil. There is only One who is perfectly good, God. You’re called and created to be like Him, and because He’s good you can be good. After all why would you want to be bad? If you do what’s bad you will be sad but if you do what’s good you will be glad. So be wise to what’s good, like you know you should, and God will “be on your side” just like He said He would.

Rom 16:19-20
19 For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil. 20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Gal 6:7-10
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Kind or Behind?

“What is desired in a man is kindness.”

Kindness is a fruit of the Spirit and selfishness a fruit of the flesh. Kindness doesn’t just come naturally because its origin is super-natural. Most people aren’t just inclined to be kind unless they walk in the Spirit. The commandment is love and it takes effort and endurance to enforce it upon ourselves. We must get to the point where we wholeheartedly believe in the Love of God, habitually receive it, in our heart conceive it, and purpose to achieve it. The love of God in action produces His character and His character is kindness. In other words God has given us the ability to act like Nobility. And that we should, because we are royalty. “The noble man makes noble plans, and by noble deeds he stands.” (Isa 32:8 NIV) And the ignoble man makes ignoble plans, and even with all his selfish demands, he still can’t stand. And we can’t stand him. But what if we are him?

Here’s an example. For many years I have been trying to teach my children to put their own dishes in the dishwasher. It seems like I’ve told them a million times and it’s almost amazing that they can’t remember after all the “nagging”. I put signs on the window in front of the sink, but this didn’t help it just obstructed the view. I tried putting a large cutting board over the sink, but it just gets in the way and the dishes just end up on the counter. I’ve tried compelling, telling and yelling but it’s still an issue and may be until they move out. And it’s not that I really mind doing the dishes because I don’t, but what bothers me is a lack of kindness. I don’t want my children to develop the habit of being inconsiderate. It’s easy to be lazy and let someone else take up the slack but this is the way of people who lack. Giving produces increase and taking decrease and we can’t save time by taking it from others. This is also why my wife is always trying to get us to clean up after ourselves. I’m sure it’s annoying to pick up after everyone but the main vexation probably comes from knowing that you live with a bunch of people with the character defect of unkindness. Not that we do it on purpose and that’s exactly the point. If we don’t purpose to be kind we will act like a behind. People that are lazy and inconsiderate can not also be noble and great and “unkind Christian” should be an oxymoron.

God is Almighty and He is also very kind. If we say that we’re like Him and, “strong in the Lord and the power of His might!” then we also must be mighty kind. And if we want to claim, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!” then we should take His supernatural strength and use it to develop the character of kindness.

Prov 19:22
What is desired in a man is kindness

Titus 3:4-7
4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
NKJV

Eph 2:3-7
3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

NKJV

Luke 6:35-36
35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. 36 Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.
NKJV

Eph 4:29-32
29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
NKJV

2 Peter 1:2-112 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.

10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
NKJV

WHAT?

The right question is “what?” not “why?”

Stop tormenting yourself by wondering “why” this or that has or hasn’t happened!

Negatively pondering “why” just makes you wanna to cry, and feel as though your heart may die.

IF YOU REALLY NEED TO UNDERSTAND, THEN GOD WILL SHOW YOU WHY! But it’s futile to continue to try when there’s no reply. It’s like lowering a bucket into a well bone dry. Thereby you waste your strength and go awry?

So don’t let “why” your peace shanghai, but change your question to “what” and kiss “why” goodbye.

“Why” is in the past! “What” is now and for the future. All you need to know is what to do. And when you know what the Lord is leading you do, then you will know why. Because He said so, that’s why, and that’s all the “why” you need to know! So stop seeking “why” and getting stuck in a rut, because what you really need is to know is, “WHAT?”

“WHAT shall I do Lord?”

Ps 85:8

“You Follow Me!”

The early bird gets the worm, but what if you’re the worm?

It’s generally good to apply basic life lessons but not always. It’s much better to follow God than the crowd because you were created to be unique not just a copycat. However if you’re the early cat you may just get the bird. Or you might just be cranky and have bad bird breath. It depends on how you’re made and what the Lord is leading you to do at the time. Everyday is different, and can be a grand adventure with God. And just because found a worm, or a bird at one place yesterday doesn’t mean you will find it at the same place again today. After all what if you’re a dog?

1 Sam 17:38-39
So Saul clothed David with his armor, and he put a bronze helmet on his head; he also clothed him with a coat of mail. 39 David fastened his sword to his armor and tried to walk, for he had not tested them. And David said to Saul, "I cannot walk with these, for I have not tested them." So David took them off.

Perturbed or Peaceful

Every morning fix your mind on good things because if you don’t it will be like a boat aimlessly afloat. Setting your mind is like setting your sail to prevail, instead of just giving your will to the wandering wind. Many things demand your attention but what deserves your attention? If you just let your thoughts go, you will release your peace get off course and have remorse. It’s like trying to sail in the shallows or too close to the beach. You’ll either run aground mentally, or random thoughts like waves of will pound you down, until you feel like you have sand in your underwear and seaweed in your teeth. But if you set your mind on a specific scripture it will enable you to go out into the deep. Your meditation even in the midst of mayhem will take you to the place of perfect peace. As you think about the unfailing Words of your Father, the Breath of the Almighty will move upon your heart and quicken your mind. So leave the undisciplined thinking of mere mankind behind. Keep your mind to God inclined, and this perfect peace you too shall find.

Isa 26:3
You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
NKJV

1 Cor 2:9-11
9 But as it is written:

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
NKJV

Rom 8:5-6
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Dehydrated or Marinated

Being hopeless makes you feel heartsick and helpless but, “A merry heart does good, like medicine.” The words of the worldly are full of woe, tending to want and worry, while the Words of God full of love and surely able to make one merry. By His Word we have hope. Faith in His Promises produces peace. Meditation in the scriptures makes us merry. Jesus said, "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” So you can either choose to be like old bones depressed and dry or you can meditate on God’s goodness and marinate in His mercy!

Ezek 37:1-14
37 The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?"

So I answered, "O Lord God, You know."

4 Again He said to me, "Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: "Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord."'"

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.

9 Also He said to me, "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, 'Thus says the Lord God:"Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live."'" 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.

11 Then He said to me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say,'Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!' 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. 13 Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. 14 I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it," says the Lord.'"
NKJV

John 6:63
63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
NKJV

Isa 55:1-3
55 "Ho! Everyone who thirsts,
Come to the waters;
And you who have no money,
Come, buy and eat.
Yes, come, buy wine and milk
Without money and without price.
2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
And let your soul delight itself in abundance.
3 Incline your ear, and come to Me.
Hear, and your soul shall live;
And I will make an everlasting covenant with you —
The sure mercies of David.

Forsake and Partake

Be at peace because you can. It’s not always easy but it is always available. And even perfect and perpetual peace. But you must know it’s a matter of choice and not a condition of circumstance. Some situations are more overwhelming than others but true trust will unfailingly provide peace in the face of all adversity. It’s called “the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding.” It’s there for you but you must choose it. Don’t focus on your fears but trust in the Trinity. Don’t allow yourself to be anxious, agitated and alarmed. Direct your attention to the faithfulness of your Heavenly Father. He loves you, promised to take care of you and is more than able. He is Almighty! So fix your mind on God, partake of His peace, forsake your fears, He’s ever greater than what appears.

Isa 26:3-4

Because he trusts in You.

Dare to Declare

Conviction and declaration empower establishment. Like the conviction of the Founding Fathers of the United States and their “Declaration of Independence”. “The Declaration” empowered the establishment of nation. It’s the principle of proclamation. And you’ve also been given the privilege to put it practice.

What will you decide and decree and be completely committed to do? Dare to declare it!

Job 22:28
28 You will also declare a thing,
And it will be established for you;
So light will shine on your ways.
NKJV

Job 22:28
28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
KJV

Job 22:28
28 You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God's favor] shall shine upon your ways.

Goin Through Heaven!

When you see things from Heaven you have Hope and Hope makes you happy. But how do you get there? Most likely you aren’t going to heaven today, or are you? You know you can have Hell on earth so why not Heaven? You may say, “I’m going through Hell” but it’s through your mind and emotions that you’re experiencing it. Why not change your mind and go through Heaven? You’ve been redeemed from the curse so you’re no longer under it but if you allow your mind to sink you may still exist in it emotionally. Dark and down thoughts make for dark and down days. If you want to ascend you will first have to do it in your mind. Leave lowly thoughts behind and begin to think like God thinks. His thoughts are higher than your thoughts, and are recorded in His Word, so you can learn to think them. “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” and you “have the mind of Christ.” In other words, you have the remote control for your own head and you get to choose the channel. You can watch Heaven Direct or Hell Uncensored. If you choose to consider the curse it will connect its cable to your cranium and consume you. But if you will think God’s thoughts and meditate in His Word day and night then you shall be like a tree planted by the waters of Life. So for now, your body will probably stay on earth. But in your own mind where will you go Heaven or Hell, only you know.

Isa 55:6-11
6 Seek the Lord while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near.
7 Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the Lord,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.

8 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord.
9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

10 "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

12 "For you shall go out with joy,
And be led out with peace;
The mountains and the hills
Shall break forth into singing before you,
And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree,
And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree;
And it shall be to the Lord for a name,
For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off."
NKJV

Phil 2:5-6
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
NKJV

1 Cor 2:16
16 For "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ.
NKJV

2 Cor 10:3-6
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
NKJV

Rom 16:19-20
19 For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil. 20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
NKJV

Ps 1:1-3
1 Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
NKJV

Deut 11:18-21
18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:

21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
KJV

Eph 2:4-7
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

Lost It?

Don’t lose heart! Because that’s what usually happens right before you lose something else. If you’ve already lost it, then it’s time to find it by believing again. Believe that you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Seeing is not believing, “for we walk by faith and not by sight” and “the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” When things don’t look good on the outside, open up the Bible and it always says the same thing on the inside. The things that are seen are facts but the Word is Truth. The facts are temporary and subject to change but the Truth of God’s Word will never change. The facts do not have the power or permanence to change the Truth but the Truth is eternal and ever able to change the facts. People of faith keep their attention on the truth and people of folly on the facts. It’s not wise to base your belief on anything that’s subject to change. If you do then your foundation will fall and you won’t be happy at all. Your circumstances will control you will feel like there’s nothing you can do, but it’s only because you’re focused on what’s fact and not what’s True. And whining and worrying is a worthless waste of time that makes one weak. So don’t be consumed in considering the circumstances but study the Scriptures and believe the Bible. And do not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but be strengthened in faith, give glory to God, and be fully convinced that what He has promised He was also able to perform!

Ps 27:13-14
3 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.

14 Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord!
NKJV

Ps 27:13-14
13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
KJV

Ps 27:13-14
13 [What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living!

14 Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.
AMP

Ps 31:23-24
23 Oh, love the Lord, all you His saints!
For the Lord preserves the faithful,
And fully repays the proud person.
24 Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord.
NKJV

2 Cor 5:7-8
7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
NKJV

Rom 8:24-25
For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
NKJV

2 Cor 4:16-18
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
NKJV

Gal 6:9-10
9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
NKJV

Luke 18:1-8
18 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, 2 saying: "There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, 'Get justice for me from my adversary.' 4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, 'Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.'"

6 Then the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"
NKJV

Rom 4:19-22
19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
NKJV

John 8:31-32
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
NKJV

1 John 5:3-4
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith.

You Can... If You Will...

What will you do today? Will you take steps toward fulfilling your dream? Will you receive God’s mercy, meditate on His promises, and manifest His magnificence? - Or not? One of the easiest and most powerful things you can do everyday is pray. “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].” It works when you put it to work. You can always pray and prayer empowers progress. None of your own obstacles are too ominous to be overcome by orison. But achieving great goals and receiving big breakthroughs requires energy and endurance. You can’t produce the power but you can partake of it through prayer. Consistent communication with your Creator makes you capable of your calling. So if you want to fulfill God’s will, and do the Divine dream, YOU CAN DO IT one step at a time, IF YOU will just be diligent to PRAY AND OBEY EVERYDAY!

“The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].” James 5:16 AMP

31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
