In Between?

In Between?

If you can’t stick up for or save yourself there’s One who can. Even if you did everything wrong and don’t even deserve to be forgiven there’s One who will. If everybody casts you out and turns their backs on you there’s One who wont. There is One Who is faithful One Who if True and He solemnly promised to take care of you. He has a long term plan you usually don’t understand so why worry and try til your brains almost fry? You can’t figure it out but if you factor Him in, with God on your side you know you’ll eventually win. This makes the mean time not quite so mean because you’re trusting in Him when you’re stuck in between - In between towns, friends, jobs, churches or houses and hopefully not but even in between spouses. There’s One You can count Who won’t do you wrong, the Almighty God to whom you belong. So don’t worry and stress and focus on bad, but remember God’s greater than all, and He is your Dad. Take comfort in knowing the goodness He’s showing when you’re overwhelmed He still knows where you’re going. Not only that, but prepares the way, even heaven itself, for you one day. You can trust Him with “your eternity” which includes today and tomorrow, so don’t let worldly woes fill you with sorrow. The more you realize His presence the more your joy will increase and when you mind’s fixed on Him you’ll have perfect peace! You may be in between almost anything but never in between Lord’s because His absolute faithfulness is one of your eternal rewards.

Isa 26:3-4
You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
4 Trust in the Lord forever,
For in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength.
NKJV

Isa 26:3-4
People with their minds set on you,
you keep completely whole,
Steady on their feet,
because they keep at it and don't quit.
4 Depend on God and keep at it
because in the Lord God you have a sure thing.
MES

Isa 26:3-4
3 You will keep in perfect peace
him whose mind is steadfast,
because he trusts in you.
4 Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal.
NIV

Isa 26:3-5
3 He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord! 4 Trust in the Lord God always, for in the Lord Jehovah is your everlasting strength.
TLB

Isa 26:3-4
3 You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.

4 So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].
AMP

Ps 40:1-5

40 I waited patiently for the Lord;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.
2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.
3 He has put a new song in my mouth —
Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the Lord.

4 Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust,
And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5 Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works
Which You have done;
And Your thoughts toward us
Cannot be recounted to You in order;
If I would declare and speak of them,
They are more than can be numbered.
NKJV

Deut 7:9-10
9 "Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;
NKJV

1 Thess 5:23-24

NKJV

2 Tim 2:11-13

11 This is a faithful saying:

For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him.
12 If we endure,
We shall also reign with Him.
If we deny Him,
He also will deny us.
13 If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
He cannot deny Himself.

Heb 10:23-24
3 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Bad Fate or a Day Late?

If you don’t take time to listen youu won’t know what you’re missin.
But there’s Divine wisdom and leads for the person who heeds.

Don’t rush out of the gate and wait to pray late then get in a big mess and call it bad fate.
God has a good plan that He wants you to know if you’ll only ask Him before you go.

So pray everyday and be bold to obey, its amazing how much “bad fate” can be avoided when you do things His way.

Ps 32:8-9
8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye.
9 Do not be like the horse or like the mule,
Which have no understanding,
Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle,
Else they will not come near you.
NKJV

Isa 48:17-18
17 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,
The Holy One of Israel:
"I am the Lord your God,
Who teaches you to profit,
Who leads you by the way you should go.
18 Oh, that you had heeded My commandments!
Then your peace would have been like a river,
And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

Ascend!

LOOK at the birds of the air they don’t have a care,
You’re of more value then they, God’s very own heir.

Consider the ravens God satisfies their crave-ns,
He’ll take care of you and provide you fair havens.

Cast off weight of worry and fly, every need He’ll supply,
When your perspective is not from earth but the sky.

Matt 6:25-26
Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
NKJV

Matt 10:29-31
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
NKJV

Lu 12:24
Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?

Luke 12:22-34
22 Then He said to His disciples, "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. 23 Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. 24 Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? 25 And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? 26 If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest? 27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28 If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?

29 "And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. 30 For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. 31 But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.

32 "Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
NKJV

Isa 55:8-9
8 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord.
9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
NKJV

Eph 2:5-7
….(by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
NKJV

Isa 40:28-31
28 Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Breath of Life or Stench of Strife?

Sometimes we don’t sense the presence of God but we know that He’s there because He sustains our life like the air. We receive His life mostly unaware. His presence can be clean like the scent in the summer after the rain or sweet like the air filled with the aroma of baking cookies or comforting like smell of a home cooked meal after a hard days work. At other times we don’t really notice but if we go without for sixty seconds or so then suddenly we realize how thankful we are for our next breath. The sense of panic is how we feel when something is choking off our God supply. The enemy is full of fear like poisonous pollution and reeks of death, the stench of strife and selfishness and the foul odor of unforgiveness. Evil is like toxic fumes and slowly annihilates but God’s goodness is refreshing and always animates. So if you haven’t been feeling well lately then it’s probably time to “clear the air.” Take a deep breath and realize God is there and His perfect peace is as available as the very air.

Gen 2:7
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
NKJV

Gen 2:7
7 God formed Man out of dirt from the ground and blew into his nostrils the breath of life. The Man came alive — a living soul!
MES

Job 32:8
8 But there is a spirit in man,
And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.
NKJV

Ps 150:6
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord!
NKJV

Ezek 37:1-10
37 The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?"

So I answered, "O Lord God, You know."

4 Again He said to me, "Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: "Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord."'"

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.

9 Also He said to me, "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, 'Thus says the Lord God:"Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live."'" 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.
NKJV

Acts 17:23-26
Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you: 24 God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. 25 Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.
NKJV

Isa 26:3
3 You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.

ART – the expression of the heart.

We are able to discern God’s will through various forms of communication with Him. We learn by listening and practicing His precepts. Prayer and walking with God is more of an art than an equation and its expression is as unique as the artist. Good conversation like art is not merely taught by methodology but is an expression of the heart. Exactly how you walk together and pray is not as important as merely practicing everyday. You are God’s masterpiece and He’s molding you through creative communication. How does the true artist learn to paint, the singer learn to sing or the instrumentalist learn to play? They may start out by copying someone else but it’s not really art until it becomes the expression of ones own heart. So I encourage you to daily seek and find “your thing” – talk and listen, read and write, play, sculpt, paint, draw, dance or sing. The genre is as unlimited as God Himself and could be almost anything. So be free and be the way God intended for you to be and bring forth something individually beautiful for the world to see.

Ps 33:13-15
13 The Lord looks from heaven;
He sees all the sons of men.
14 From the place of His dwelling He looks
On all the inhabitants of the earth;
15 He fashions their hearts individually;
He considers all their works.
NKJV

Eph 2:10
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Horrible or Happy Harvest?

There’s a harvest in your future, what you think and say are the seeds, what’s in your heart and mouth will determine if you bring forth fruit or weeds. The sower sows by saying and what you sow is destined to grow. It’s a spiritual law that can’t be changed, if you violate it the results will be bad or you can use it to your advantage and end up glad. It’s like the law of gravity, it’s nice when it holds your car to the road but it’s not so good if you try to jump the grad canyon. So the bottom line is that what you sow you will reap, so beware your future will be affected by the company you keep. That’s why you want to keep God and His Words in the forefront of your heart and mind, and always make sure your words are kind, otherwise the harvest will come up as thorns and kick your behind.

Prov 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.
NKJV

Jer 6:19
19 Hear, O earth!
Behold, I will certainly bring calamity on this people —
The fruit of their thoughts,
Because they have not heeded My words
Nor My law, but rejected it.
NKJV

Mark 4:13-20
13 And He said to them, "Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? 14 The sower sows the word. 15 And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word's sake, immediately they stumble. 18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, 19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. 20 But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred."
NKJV

Matt 12:33-37
33 "Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. 34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. 36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."
NKJV

Gal 6:7-8
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
NKJV

Heb 6:7-8

7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; 8 but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned.
NKJV

Isa 55:10-11
10 "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
NKJV

Fruit or Foul?

Did you ever think about the potential your words have to change life? For better or worse for richer or poorer… is what you say constructive, destructive or a just a lot of useless noise? Everybody’s had their lives changed by what somebody said and lives continue to be changed by somebody’s sayings. So which side are you on? Good or evil helpful or hateful? Of the entire creation on earth mankind is the only species given the awesome privilege to be able to speak like God. Not only can you choose your own words but also are able to receive God’s Words and say what he said. You have been given the power to bless or curse. God has truly blessed you to be a blessing. If you pay attention to what God said it will get in your head. Or you can listen to all the strange voices and start making bad choices. So what words are you being influenced by and what kind of influence are your words having? The first is your hearts seed and the next is your mouths fruit. For the good words and the evil you will give account, they’re piling up on the scales, so make sure the better is the greater amount. Endeavor to be a blessing in all that you say, ask God to help you and do it today!

Sticks and stones may break our bones but with time they’re soon healed,
But careless words can cause pain ever long instilled.

If we choose to speak life our words will be the key,
To open up the gates of heaven for eternity.

John 10:1-6
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers." 6 Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.
NKJV

John 10:10
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
NKJV

John 10:27-28
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
NKJV

John 6:63-64
63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. NKJV

John 6:68-69
68 But Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
NKJV

John 8:31-32
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
NKJV

John 15:1-8
15 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

NKJV

Luke 6:43-45
43 "For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
NKJV

James 3:1-12
My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. 2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. 3 Indeed, we put bits in horses' mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. 4 Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things.

See how great a forest a little fire kindles! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. 7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. 8 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? 12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh.

HEis4US

Rom 4:20-25
20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. 22 And therefore "it was accounted to him for righteousness."

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, 24 but also for us(4US). It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, 25 who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.
NKJV

Rom 5:8
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us(4US)
NKJV

Rom 8:26
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us(4US) with groanings which cannot be uttered.
NKJV

Rom 8:31-39
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us(4US), who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us(4US) all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us(4US). 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:

"For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
NKJV

Luke 1:68-75
68 "Blessed is the Lord God of Israel,
For He has visited and redeemed His people,
69 And has raised up a horn of salvation for us(4US)
In the house of His servant David,
70 As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets,
Who have been since the world began,
71 That we should be saved from our enemies
And from the hand of all who hate us,
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers
And to remember His holy covenant,
73 The oath which He swore to our father Abraham:
74 To grant us that we,
Being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
Might serve Him without fear,
75 In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.
NKJV

"What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us(4US), who can be against us?"

IAMTRU2U

Lift up your head and don’t frown God will not let you down. He’s Almighty and True and promised to take care of you!

Heb 13:5-6
5 Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not,[I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down ( relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] [Josh 1:5.]

6 So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? [Ps 27:1; 118:6.]

Heb 13:5-6
5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." 6 So we may boldly say:

I will not fear.
What can man do to me?"
NKJV

Heb 13:5-6
5 Don't be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Since God assured us, "I'll never let you down, never walk off and leave you," 6 we can boldly quote,

I'm fearless no matter what.
Who or what can get to me?

Craze Maze or Glory Days?

Do you ever start your days like a rat in a maze, being driven to run because there’s so much to get done? The temptation comes to get in a big hurry and take of like rodent zigzagging in flurry. But like vermin is not the way God wants you to be, if you would just stop for second then you could be free. Pause and you’ll see what He has to say, just take a moment and ask Him to show you the way. He’ll lift you up from the craze maze and give you His peace, then seeing from His perspective your compulsive behavior will cease. God invites you to rise up and live on His level not down and dirty like a rat of the devil.

If you have a GPS sometimes you have to stop and wait to see what it has to say. This also seems to be true with Gods Positioning System, at any moment you can pause and pray and see what He has to say. Through prayer you can get anywhere because He orders your steps when you are aware.

“Haste makes waste!” The enemy’s prodding so you feel chased.
When you’re compelled to hurry like a stressed pest,
Just stop and pray and enter God’s rest,
Then you’ll be blessed and live in Gods best.

Isa 28:16

"Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation,
A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation;

12 For you shall not go out with haste,
Nor go by flight;
For the Lord will go before you,
And the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

Heb 4:3
3 For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:
NKJV

Heb 4:11-16
11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

“An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away!”

The Words of God recorded in the Bible contain life and virtue. It’s like good nutrition and vitamins, you have to receive it regularly to receive the full benefit. When people start to get sick or perceive problems often they begin to consume large quantities in order to make up for some deficiency. But it’s better to be on a regular regimen then to try to compensate for consistent neglect with sporadic and extreme action. It’s like waiting until you have scurvy and then attempting to eat a barrel of citrus fruit in a sitting. Or being extremely lazy everyday until the doctor says you’re dying and then undertaking an extreme diet and exercise program immediately, or waiting to drink until you’re dehydrated and demented and then guzzling gallons of water. Most dilemmas don’t just pop up in a day. So don’t delay to receive the Word and pray until you’re in complete dismay and then expect God to make your problems just disappear and “go away!” If it was your lifestyle that conjured it up then a lifestyle change will be necessary to cast it out. There’s a simple solution for natural or spiritual malnutrition. Just began to eat right. Ask God for help, receive the Word, and pray and obey everyday it’s even better than apples for keeping your problems at bay.

Matt 6:11
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
NKJV

John 1:1-2
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
NKJV

John 6:48-49
48 I am the bread of life.
NKJV

John 6:63
63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
NKJV

Prov 4:20-22
20 My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;
22 For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.
NKJV

1 Tim 4:6
6 If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed.
NKJV

Isa 55:2-3
2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
And let your soul delight itself in abundance.
3 Incline your ear, and come to Me.
Hear, and your soul shall live;

“ACTION!”

For any area of your life to be fit you will have be diligent to exercise it. First you have to know what to do and then you have to do what you know. If you want to change your life you will have to change your lifestyle. You can sit around and pray all day but if you don’t add some action afterward you’re still not going anywhere. God’s not going to move you but He’ll help you move when you get moving. And once you get going you have to keep going. It takes consistency to maintain positive change. It’s not just short bursts of activity but the little things you do everyday that make “your way.” And where is your way leading? Are you going somewhere or do you just keep riding the bike around the block? Which is fine if that’s all you want out of life but if you desire increase and improvement you will need to be active in those arenas - Physical, mental, spiritual, social and financial all require exercise for excellence.

You know you need to exercise and there is no excuse. Not everybody can do the same thing but everyone can do something. So use it or lose it! Stop praying for God to do it for you and ask Him to help you and the get up and get going. Then tomorrow do it again and the next day and the next. Decide you like exercise because it’s the way to increase. Don’t buy the lie that it’s too hard for you because it’s just not true. You know you can do it if you put your mind to it. It may be a bit challenging and especially at first but not nearly as hard as dealing with the consequences of not doing it. If you’ve been praying for deliverance but still feel discouraged then you might just need to ask God to help you be disciplined and determined. So that what you began and desire to do you can see through. When you finally act on what you’ve just previously willed, then you’ll find yourself elated and thrilled. Hey! That sounds like a good thing to do everyday.

In order for God to direct you life He requires “Action!”

James 2:18-21
18 But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe — and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
NKJV

1 Thess 5:23-24
23 May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together — spirit, soul, and body — and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. 24 The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he'll do it!

Get it In Writing!

To be a good steward pray and put things in order, itemize, prioritize, be a recorder.
To record simply means to “put it in writing” the ink is then binding God’s will inciting.

“Get it in writing” is what you say when you’re urging someone to confirm a commitment. For as long as it’s only spoken it can be manipulated but once it is written it’s much more difficult to weasel out of or change. Once it is written it keeps us from lying or denying what we agreed to and made plain to see. Most people tend to forget to what they commit and then in their own minds they are no longer responsible. Somewhere down deep they know they’re a liar but the evidence is conveniently “lost” to the self-denier. This is the reason many promises are broken, because it’s not written but only spoken. Many of the things that people know they should do, they never finish and then deny that it’s true.

So God’s saying to me that He wants it in writing because my flesh will conveniently try to reason away the things He did say. But when His instructions to me are clear to see the words “it is written” will then set me free. Liberated from the temptation to deny, lie and reason, I’m bound by the ink I so I can’t commit treason. This will work with the large items as well as the small but if I don’t write it down I might not do it at all. And when He asks me. “Why?” then what will I say? “Sorry! I forgot to do what You said what I prayed.” I know I can quote God but when He can quote me it will come to pass that the truth set me free.

Matt 4:1-11
4 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. 3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread."

4 But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'"

5 Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, 6 and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written:

'He shall give His angels charge over you,'

and,

'In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.'"

7 Jesus said to him, "It is written again, 'You shall not tempt the Lord your God.'"

8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, "All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me."

10 Then Jesus said to him, "Away with you, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.'"

11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.
NKJV

John 8:31-32
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
NKJV

Write it Down to Get it Right!

If you’re talking how do you know if someone is listening? In leadership training they say, “If they’re not taking notes then stop talking.” If your instructions are important then you expect people to write it down to get it right. If they’re too lazy to practice a bit of penmanship or think that they’ll probably “just remember” everything then they are not likely to be a great asset. Most people can’t even get to the store and back productively without a list. How many times you need to repeat and remind is directly related to advancement and compensation. Someone you can instruct once for a whole day is much better than someone you have to instruct all day. People who don’t write things down tend to forget while people who do usually get things done.

So what do you do when God’s talking to you?
It’s important when praying to write down what He’s saying.

It’s hard to keep pace when you have to stop and get directions during the race.
So write it down and when your list is done then you’ll be on the right track and ready to run.

PIE-ing

If we want to be successful and productive then daily we need to be PIE-ing -which is praying, itemizing and exercising. PIEing is like rowing, it’s the steps that we take to get where we’re going. Prayer is simply talking to God and it’s like the food that fuels our future. When we fellowship with Him we receive rest, refreshment and revelation. Peace, comfort and contentment come from the Source not our everyday life situation. Hope happens when we see something good in our future and God always helps us walk out His will. Prayer is like being on a high mountain, it’s the place where we see, but we’ll soon forget if we don’t write down what God showed us will be. We need to make a map so later when were in the woods we know where we’re going. God lifts us up and shows us landmarks from above so we can successfully navigate life’s challenges below.

It doesn’t matter how good the directions are if there’s more than a few steps we’ll probably forget something if we don’t jot it down. We might not know why but every piece is important and if we miss just a step or two we might find ourselves backtracking, lost or dueling disorder. And even with God’s help things still won’t work when they’re out of order. So that’s why we need to itemize, prioritize, strategize, keep the plan before our eyes and not neglect the exercise.

It’s not enough to know what to do you also must do what you know. Exercising is important because it’s doing what you know. God can show you the plan but unless you act it out it’s just like watching an exercise video. You might end up informed but you’re still not helping anyone. Sometimes it seems like we have a few too many over informed and under acting the exercise of God’s will. We shouldn’t just sit around and criticize and tell what we know but we should get up and exercise and show how to go. So don’t get discouraged just trying crying but fulfill God’s will by practicing PIE-ing.

PIE, PIE, PIE your boat,
Go against the flow.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
This is how you go.

James 1:22-25
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

EAT Your PIE!

I want to remind you to continue to be disciplined and ‘eat’ your PIE everyday. PIE stands for Pray, Itemize and Exercise and it’s a easy way to discern and fulfill God’s will for your life one day at a time. A simple way to pray is to just talk and listen and read and write. It doesn’t really matter exactly how you do it just do it. When you call God He will answer and the receiver you use to hear His voice is on the inside. Very seldom do people actually hear God with the physical ear but God speaks to us from where He lives. We hear with the inner ear, that is the ear of the heart and He’s communicating not so much with sounds as impressions. When we open our heart to God’s will then we began to get a clue about what to do, a kind of inner knowing about where we ought to be going. We talk and listen or read and listen and it’s important when praying to write down what He’s saying. Then the things God leads us to do through inner knowledge or journaling become the items for our ‘to do’ list. We get our script from His Spirit and the Scriptures. Then once we have it He helps us P.S. it. He shows us how to prioritize and strategize so that we really can seek first His kingdom and fulfill His will. And once everything’s prepared and our script is in order then it’s time for “Action!” Then He empowers us to do as we take our cues we exercise His will and act it out one step at a time. God is the Author and Director, the world is the stage, we are the actors and PIE is the script.

"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,”
Shakesphere

So who’s writing your script?

Ps 37:23
3 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way.

Prov 16:9
9 A man's heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps.

1 Chron 28:19

Something New?

Aahh! Green grass! Why is it so nice to see? What I’ve seen outside for the last six months is mostly white and various shades of brown. Snow is glistening and beautiful but then the stuff we live in gets dirty and turns blackish. And now it’s time for “mud season” and more clinging browns. Thank God for the evergreens and blue sky otherwise I don’t think I could stand the color palette of winter. Even on the mountains where the snow stays pure you can still get tired of looking stark white. Don’t get me wrong, I love all the seasons but after a few months I’m ready for change and especially at the end of winter begin to crave to see signs of new life. I don’t think most people would like to live in on ice year round and part of the reason is because everything is dormant. It’s good to stop and reflect and be serene but after some introspection we often need a bit extrospection. I know it’s not a word but now it is, and something new for you. People say, “you can’t just make up words” but why not, somebody made up the words we’re using today. Anyway, what does your color palette look like? It’s time to shine and spring forth with some new life. You can’t always choose what you see on the outside but you have your own set of paints for what’s coming from the inside. How about changing your own perspective simply by painting something vibrant and new from within? And if that sounds too difficult then let me just say it’s your box of crayons so color it the way you want to.

Isa 43:19
19 Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.
NKJV

Ezek 36:26-27
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

Joel 2:23-24
23 Be glad then, you children of Zion,
And rejoice in the Lord your God;

And the latter rain in the first month.
24 The threshing floors shall be full of wheat,
And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.

Rev 21:5

5 Then He who sat on the throne said,"Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."

The Real Deal

Everybody likes to get a good deal. It’s fun and exciting to get something for less than it’s worth. Have you ever come out smelling like a rose and thinking, “Wow! I’m either a super shopper or the place I just got my deal is stupid.” There’s all kinds of reason for selling for less like, “out with the old and in with the new”, or the item no longer possesses its previous value in the sellers eyes, or to get you in the store to buy something else, or the sale item has full price “accessories” that you also “must” have, or because “they really need the money”, or in some cases they just want to “bless you.” But the ultimate deals usually come from the people who love you. My brother bought a truck from my dad for a dollar and I bought a Blazer from my brother for a dollar. Now that’s a good deal! More like a gift for a very small price. But the ultimate deal of the ages is salvation. God offers to give us His life and access to everything He has in exchange for our lives and everything we have. Wow! How could any super shopper resist? And God’s not stupid He just loves you so much that He gave His all to get all of you. Can you imagine? Now that’s good news! You get priceless and eternal life with all the benefits in exchange for your temporal and mere meaningless life!

Child of God and Heir of All Things!

John 1:12
12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name
NKJV

Gal 4:6-7
6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!" 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
NKJV

Rom 8:16-17
16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs — heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
NKJV

Heb 1:1-3
1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;
NKJV

John 16:15

Best Friend or Bad Dog?

Thoughts are like dogs if you train them then they will bring you joy but if you don’t they’ll cause stress, run wild and destroy your house. The enemy is always trying to get you to take his bad dogs and trying to corrupt your good dogs. If you control your thoughts they’ll guard your life but if you don’t it’s like they’re bred to fight and bite. You wouldn’t just let a pack of stray dogs in your home nor should you just let your thoughts run wild. So beware of the mean dogs and also the little sickly ones that don’t seem like a threat but carry debilitating diseases like discouragement. The Bible says we will “have the fruit of thoughts” and “as a man thinks in his heart so is he.” So we have to defend our thoughts in order to watch over our hearts and protect our lives. The next issue of your life is currently being processed by your mind and stored up in your heart. Hopefully it’s not something titled like, “Man is maimed by a pack of stray dogs” but instead, “Man saved from calamity by his own trained dog faithful and true.” What you’re going to think and do is up to you. No one else can train your dog but you, and when you do then your mind will begin to bring you joy. The best and most powerful way to change your thoughts is by thinking God’s thoughts. If you will mediate on His Words and see yourself the way He said you are then you will begin to change your life for the better and forever.

Isa 55:8-11
8 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord.
9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

10 "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
NKJV

Prov 4:20-23
20 My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;
22 For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
NKJV

Heb 4:12-16
2 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

2 Cor 10:3-5
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

Dying to Live

Jesus showed us how to live by dying,
Gave His life in self denying,
On the cross in God relying,
Now lives forever death defying.

God’s blood was shed to ransom thee,
Receive His will on bended knee,
Die to self by His decree,
And live His love for all to see.

John 15:12-14
This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.
NKJV

Matt 20:27-28
And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave — 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
NKJV

Luke 22:41-42
And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and He knelt down and prayed, 42 saying, "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done."
NKJV

Matt 20:18-19
18 "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, 19 and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again."
NKJV

Luke 24:5-7
5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, 7 saying, 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.'"
NKJV

Acts 2:22-36
22 "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know — 23 Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; 24 whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it. 25 For David says concerning Him:

'I foresaw the Lord always before my face,
For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken.
26 Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad;
Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope.
27 For You will not leave my soul in Hades,
Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.
28 You have made known to me the ways of life;
You will make me full of joy in Your presence.'

29 "Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, 31 he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. 32 This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. 33 Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.

34 "For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself:

'The Lord said to my Lord,
'Sit at My right hand,
35 Till I make Your enemies Your footstool."'

36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."

7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

1 Cor 15:25-26
25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. NKJV

Heb 2:14-15
14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
NKJV

1 Peter 1:18-21
8 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
NKJV

Rom 6:5-11
5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin. 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. 10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
NKJV

Matt 16:24-27
24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
NKJV

John 13:12-17
12 So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you? 13 You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. 16 Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. 17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
NKJV

Phil 2:5-11
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
NKJV

2 Cor 5:15
15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
NKJV

Gal 2:20-21
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
NKJV

Eph 5:1-2
5 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
NKJV

Ridin High

Yay! I’m headed to the mountain to go boarding. It always makes me think of the scripture,

Isa 58:14
Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth…
KJV

Ha, ha that’s not exactly what He was talking about but it is God who made the mountains and the snow and gave us the awesome wisdom to invent the board so I praise Him for it anyway! Thank God who gives us all good things “who gives us richly all things to enjoy!”

John 10:10
10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
AMP

God gives us an abundance of snow and life till it overflows so we can enjoy it. Think of all the good things that He’s given you to enjoy and have a great day and be blessed in every way!

Lovingkindness

God is courting us, drawing us to Himself because He loves us with everlasting and unfailing love. He says “come to Me” and when we yield we are filled and refreshed by His great lovingkindness. He saturates us with His Spirit who sheds abroad in our hearts His wonderful love. What a joy it is to be in love with the One Who’s in love with us and to be together with Him in the heavenly places!

Jer 31:3
The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:
"Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
NKJV

Jer 31:3
"…I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love.
With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.”
NLT

John 6:44-45
44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God.' Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.
NKJV

Matt 11:28-30
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
NKJV

John 7:37-39
37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
NKJV

Rom 5:5
5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
NKJV

Eph 2:4-8
4 But God — so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us,

5 Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved ( delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation).

6 And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

7 He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus.

8 For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved ( delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

Isa 54:10
10 For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you.
