What’s the word for the day? It’s like saying, “What’s for breakfast?” or “What’s for dinner?” You know that you will eat today but you don’t always know what until you seek it out. You may prepare your own meals or have them prepared but you still have to take the time to eat them. If you neglect to eat you’ll get sickly and weak. Yet it seems that many “believers” still haven’t figured this out with the Word. If you’re going to believe you have to have something to believe. You can’t have faith without the Word any more than you can eat without food. You can try to pretend but if don’t have the energy it takes to live by faith and overcome you are not getting proper nutrition. You are to be “nourished in the words of faith.” Jesus said, that He is the living bread and, “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”
If you only eat a few times a week you will be weak; even less your outlook bleak.
Everyday God gives the daily bread,
Take time to eat it, by hearing what He said.
The Word unheard - leaves your faith hanging by a thread,
Without the vigor to go ahead - and faith without works is dead.
Hear the Word often or you’ll began to misconstrue it,
It’s the daily bread, so daily - you must renew it.
Faith will overcome all adversity and get you through it.
If the Word is very near you, then you can do it.
1 Tim 4:6-7
6 If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed.

Matt 6:8-11
8 "Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9 In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.

Isa 55:1-3
5 "Ho! Everyone who thirsts,
Come to the waters;
And you who have no money,
Come, buy and eat.
Yes, come, buy wine and milk
Without money and without price.
2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
And let your soul delight itself in abundance.
3 Incline your ear, and come to Me.
Hear, and your soul shall live;

James 2:14-20
14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18 But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe — and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
NKJV
1 John 5:4-5
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith.

But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.
NKJV

21 Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;

And health to all their flesh.
NKJV
Ps 1:1-3
1 Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
NKJV
John 8:31-32
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
