Practice Makes Perfect Peace

It makes no sense to stress about something that you can do nothing about. And Jesus said not to worry about the rest your life, your things or your future. Wow, that’s a pretty tall order and it takes practice and perseverance. It’s easier said then done and the only way to do it is to trust God continually. You have to keep reminding yourself that God said that He will take care of you and He will never leave or forsake you. You will be tempted to think all kinds of other things; to worry, stress and hurry but in the grand scheme of things it will do you no good. You make better progress while you’re at peace and you’re at peace when you’re trusting God. So practice because “practice makes perfect” Perfect Peace that is, and your peace is perfected when you practice trusting in God.

Isa 26:3
3 You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
NKJV

Isa 26:3-4
3 You will keep in perfect peace
him whose mind is steadfast,
because he trusts in you.
4 Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal.
NIV

Isa 26:3-4
3 He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord!

Prov 3:5-6

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
NKJV

Matt 6:25-34
25 "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

28 "So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31 "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
NKJV

Phil 4:19-20
19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
NKJV
