Slothful or Strong

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Php 4:13

The idea of being strong is a much more enjoyable to then the actual process of strengthening itself. Everybody would like to “be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” so why isn’t everyone? God said He will strengthen us, but how will He do it? We can lay on the floor and pray for power but muscles and might manifest after movement. So after we lay and pray we need to get up and go. We are strengthened by Gods Words and through the power of His Spirit but the Word is like weights and walking in the Spirit like cardio conditioning. When we obey the Word and follow the Spirit we exercise Gods will. And if we will do it daily the results will be dynamic. The more we do what He leads us to do the more He will empower us to do and the more we obey the stronger we will get. Strength comes through the simple process of the exercise of obedience. If we are lazy and disobedient we will not be strengthened for there is no strength required to be slothful, uninspired and tired. But if we will simply pray and obey everyday we will get stronger for that is His way.

Eph 6:10
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Be STRONG and DO…

Josh 1:7-9
7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
NKJV

Heb 12:12-13
12 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.
