Glorified to Glorify

Some people see in letters, pictures or numbers. I see in scriptures. Here’s what I see today, but how can I describe it in words?

Rom 8:29-30
29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

I. Conformed
A. Image
1. Gen 1:26-27 – Image of God
2. Heb 1:2-3 – the express Image of His Person
B. Transformed – metamorphosis - 2 Cor 5:17

III. Justified
A. Rom 5:1-5 – Justified – Faith – Shalom - Grace – Love – Glory
B. Titus 3:7 – Justified by grace – heirs – hope of eternal life/zoe
C. I Tim 3:16 – God – manifested – justified – seen – preached – believed – received in glory
IV. Glorified
A. Rom 8:30 - Called – Justified – Glorified!
B. John 17:22 – the Glory is union
a. 1 Cor 6:17
C. Jn 15:1-8 – Abide in the Almighty
D. Glorified to Glorify
a. 1 Pe 4:10-11 – Grace – Abide in His Ability –
- that God may be glorified through Christ – “Christ in you the hope of Glory” – Col 1:27

2 Thess 1:11-12

11 Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, 12 that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
