I wonder what happened to the soldiers who wore God’s clothes.
John 19:23-24
23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. Now the tunic was without seam, woven from the top in one piece. 24 They said therefore among themselves, "Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be," that the Scripture might be fulfilled which says:
"They divided My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast lots."
Therefore the soldiers did these things.
NKJV
The Spirit of God has tangible substance and ability to saturate and be transmitted through the molecular structure of things.
Mark 5:28-30
28 For she said, "If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well."
29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, "Who touched My clothes?"
NKJV
Matt 14:35-36
35 And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to Him all who were sick, 36 and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well.
NKJV
Acts 19:11-13
11 Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.
NKJV
So what do you think happened to the soldiers who wore Jesus’ clothes? The Bible doesn’t specify but I’m inclined to believe that it was something supernatural.
Would you like to wear God’s clothes? And if you did do you think something supernatural would happen to you?
He’s not raining raiment from heaven but has poured out His Spirit so you can be clothed in the power that empowered the clothes.
Luke 24:49
49 I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."
NIV
Mark 1:6-8
6 Now John was clothed with camel's hair and with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey. 7 And he preached, saying, "There comes One after me who is mightier than I, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to stoop down and loose. 8 I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."
NKJV
Acts 1:4-6
4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," He said, "you have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."
NKJV
Acts 1:8
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…
NKJV
You have an invitation:
To be immersed in the essence of the Almighty.
To be supernaturally saturated with the substance of His Spirit.
To be filled with all of His fullness until you overflow with God’s Glory.
2 Cor 5:1-5
5 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, 3 if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. 4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. 5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
NKJV
“not because we want to be unclothed, but FURTHER CLOTHED, that mortality may be swallowed up by life”
If you’ve been clothed, you are clothed, but how clothed are you? Is your mortality being swallowed up by life? It’s possible to be filled to the full so that life becomes greater than death. To be so saturated that Satan, the spirit of fear, lack and all sickness and disease - merely flees, from the presence of the Almighty in thee.
James 4:7-8a
7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
NKJV
Rom 8:11
11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
NKJV
Phil 4:19
19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
NKJV
His riches are in His Glory and you’ve been glorified!
Rom 8:29-30
29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
NKJV
And the revelation of the mystery is “Christ in you the hope of Glory.”
Col 1:27
27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
NKJV
Not only are you supposed to “hope in” but also to “have” the Glory of God. You’re called to obtain it.
2 Thess 2:14
14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
NKJV
And you shall obtain it because you’ve been “justified” so that the “hope of Glory” shall “not disappoint.”
Rom 5:1… 2… 5
5 Therefore, having been justified by faith… we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God…
…5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
NKJV
Eph 3:16-21
16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
NKJV

20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.
NKJV
