Overcome Oppression!

God wills to bless you but the devil desires to oppress you,
So it takes some aggression to overcome oppression.
“the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force,”
And destroy the works of darkness - without remorse.

Matt 11:12-13
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
NKJV

1 John 3:8b
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
NKJV

John 14:12
12 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
NKJV

Oppression is defined as - a feeling of being weighed down, as with worries or problems; physical or mental distress.

To oppress is “To impose excessive burdens upon; to overload; hence, to treat with unjust rigor or with cruelty.” --Wyclif.

It also means, “To produce a sensation of weight in (some part of the body)” [1913 Webster]”

The whole world seems to be weighted down with worries, overloaded and oppressed and it’s absolutely ungodly. First of all Jesus said, “DO NOT WORRY!” He said; do not worry about your life, do not worry about your things, and do not worry about your future. (Mt 6:25-34) And if He said it then you can do it. God Almighty is your heavenly Father, He knows all you need and has promised to provide. And when you know He is able, you will be stable.

You can’t yield to worry without giving in to fear, and fear is a demonic and destructive spirit. But the Bible says,

2 Tim 1:7
7 For God have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
NKJV

2 Tim 1:7
7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.
AMP

And it takes a Spirit of power, love and a sound mind to overcome the oppression of fear.

1 John 4:18
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.
NKJV

So if you yield to worry and give in to fear it will torment, oppress, and bring you into bondage. The world is full of fear mongers heralding the voice of victimized. As soon as you buy the lie you began to die. Your peace will perish as you consider losing all that you cherish. But it’s God’s Word that’s True! And what has He said to you? Always remember John 8:32!

John 8:31-32
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
NKJV

Know with conviction what God has to say, keep your mind on His Word now and alway. Cast down the lies every time they arise, don’t give in for a second, do not compromise. God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of love, and of power, so be of good cheer. In the name of Almighty Jesus - I declare, “YOU ARE FREE!” Now resist the enemy with God’s aggression and He will flee.

John 16:33
33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
NKJV

James 4:7
7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
NKJV

Acts 10:38-39
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
NKJV

Luke 4:18
18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
NKJV

Ps 72:4
4 He will bring justice to the poor of the people;
He will save the children of the needy,
And will break in pieces the oppressor.
NKJV

Isa 10:27
27 It shall come to pass in that day
That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder,
And his yoke from your neck,
And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.
NKJV

2 Cor 1:21-22
1 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God,
NKJV

Ps 12:5
5 "For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy,
Now I will arise," says the Lord;
"I will set him in the safety for which he yearns."
NKJV

Job 36:15
5 He delivers the poor in their affliction,
And opens their ears in oppression.
NKJV

Job 36:15
15 He delivers the afflicted in their affliction and opens their ears [to His voice] in adversity.

Isa 54:13-17
13 All your children shall be taught by the Lord,
And great shall be the peace of your children.
14 In righteousness you shall be established;
You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear;
And from terror, for it shall not come near you.
15 Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me.
Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake.

16 "Behold, I have created the blacksmith
Who blows the coals in the fire,
Who brings forth an instrument for his work;
And I have created the spoiler to destroy.
17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,"
Says the Lord.
NKJV

Isa 41:10-13
10 Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'

11 "Behold, all those who were incensed against you
Shall be ashamed and disgraced;
They shall be as nothing,
And those who strive with you shall perish.
12 You shall seek them and not find them —
Those who contended with you.
Those who war against you
Shall be as nothing,
As a nonexistent thing.
13 For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.'
NKJV
