Do what you do, because it’s what YOU want to do.
Let God change your heart - and He will lead you.
Yield to Him He lives within so you’re not a “slave of sin.”
Free from fear and the control of man, under God’s almighty Hand.

Don’t do it by compulsion,
Don’t do it for the crowd,
Don’t do it to avoid rejection,
Or merely because it is “allowed.”

Don’t do it to conform, or try to self reform,
Or fit within the box, of other people’s norm.
Don’t do it for your lusts, don’t do it for your fears,
Or to try to get the cheers, of all your little peers.

If you violate your own heart, you will convict yourself a liar,
So don’t yield to the pressure, or the world’s desire.
Do what you do, because it’s what YOU want to do,
To God and to self, you must be true.
