Time is Like a Treadmill

Do you want to prosper in this life and be rewarded in heaven? Of course! But your effectiveness will be determined by how you spend your own time and money. If you spend it wisely you will multiply blessings but if you squander it end up strapped and suffering. Your current condition is the result of your stewardship and your future is being determined by your current choices. If you want to fulfill Gods will you will have to walk it out one step at a time. Are you doing God’s will or undoing it? When you obey what God puts on your heart you take a step forward and when you don’t you slide back because time is like treadmill. It’s always moving and if you go to slow you’ll end up in a pile of people behind it wondering why you can never get ahead. The adage “one step forward and two steps back” happens when you simply don’t do what you know you need to. Wasting time is one step back and wasting money is another if you do these two things you will never go forward. If you just do one of the two you will still end up going nowhere. Time passes like the track going by under your feet, you can’t stop it but you can use it get ahead or behind. And money flows like a stream through your land, you can’t cause it to cease but you can direct its course. You can invest it for the future or just watch it like water going down the drain. So how well you do really depends on you. If you do what the Lord directs you to then He can and will help you but if you don’t then how can He? So before you try to enlist His aid make sure you’re going the same direction and if you really want to prosper then make sure you don’t waste the time and money that He’s given to you. Simple to say, hard to do but you’re no weakling and He’s counting on you.
