Lost It?

Don’t lose heart! Because that’s what usually happens right before you lose something else. If you’ve already lost it, then it’s time to find it by believing again. Believe that you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Seeing is not believing, “for we walk by faith and not by sight” and “the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” When things don’t look good on the outside, open up the Bible and it always says the same thing on the inside. The things that are seen are facts but the Word is Truth. The facts are temporary and subject to change but the Truth of God’s Word will never change. The facts do not have the power or permanence to change the Truth but the Truth is eternal and ever able to change the facts. People of faith keep their attention on the truth and people of folly on the facts. It’s not wise to base your belief on anything that’s subject to change. If you do then your foundation will fall and you won’t be happy at all. Your circumstances will control you will feel like there’s nothing you can do, but it’s only because you’re focused on what’s fact and not what’s True. And whining and worrying is a worthless waste of time that makes one weak. So don’t be consumed in considering the circumstances but study the Scriptures and believe the Bible. And do not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but be strengthened in faith, give glory to God, and be fully convinced that what He has promised He was also able to perform!

Ps 27:13-14
3 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.

14 Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord!
NKJV

Ps 27:13-14
13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
KJV

Ps 27:13-14
13 [What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living!

14 Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.

Ps 31:23-24
23 Oh, love the Lord, all you His saints!
For the Lord preserves the faithful,
And fully repays the proud person.
24 Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord.
NKJV

2 Cor 5:7-8
7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
NKJV

Rom 8:24-25
For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
NKJV

2 Cor 4:16-18
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
NKJV

Gal 6:9-10
9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
NKJV

Luke 18:1-8
18 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, 2 saying: "There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, 'Get justice for me from my adversary.' 4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, 'Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.'"

6 Then the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"
NKJV

Rom 4:19-22
19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
NKJV

John 8:31-32
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
NKJV

1 John 5:3-4
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith.
NKJV
