Perturbed or Peaceful

Every morning fix your mind on good things because if you don’t it will be like a boat aimlessly afloat. Setting your mind is like setting your sail to prevail, instead of just giving your will to the wandering wind. Many things demand your attention but what deserves your attention? If you just let your thoughts go, you will release your peace get off course and have remorse. It’s like trying to sail in the shallows or too close to the beach. You’ll either run aground mentally, or random thoughts like waves of will pound you down, until you feel like you have sand in your underwear and seaweed in your teeth. But if you set your mind on a specific scripture it will enable you to go out into the deep. Your meditation even in the midst of mayhem will take you to the place of perfect peace. As you think about the unfailing Words of your Father, the Breath of the Almighty will move upon your heart and quicken your mind. So leave the undisciplined thinking of mere mankind behind. Keep your mind to God inclined, and this perfect peace you too shall find.

Isa 26:3
You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
NKJV

1 Cor 2:9-11
9 But as it is written:

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
NKJV

Rom 8:5-6
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
NKJV
