Let it Go!

When your heart is wounded it hurts and especially when you try to use it. The night before last I had a dream, it was of betrayal and I understood the pain of having your heart broken. So yesterday when I woke up I was all messed up. I couldn’t shake it so as I was working I spent all day praying for the broken hearted. It’s horrible place to be in when you have inner agony but outwardly you’re still going through the motions. If you’re there then you know what I mean. You can kinda “get used to” being in constant pain - I suppose about as well as someone with emphysema can “get used to” carrying around an oxygen tank. You may be able to “deal with it” but you can’t live well with it. I’m sorry it hurts so much and I sympathize but simple pity is not the power to be free. God not only had pity on us but was moved with compassion and sent His own Son to deal with the very heart of the problem. He is always on call and waiting to work within. He works when we yield our will for Him to work. Whenever we call upon Him He answers and administers assistance. In order for the Good Physician to help you, you will have to put your heart in His hands by faith. Even though it’s been broken and hurts so much you can trust Him with it. His love and commitment to you is unbreakable and “He will never leave or forsake you.” Once you put your heart in His hands then you have to leave it there and keep all the other poison out. God wants to fill your heart with His love and the enemy wants to fill it with His hate. It’s going to take a constant effort of letting go of and resisting all ill will, but God will help you if you will so you can be well. He will purify and heal your heart as meditate on His Words and receive His Love. He is continually pouring out His Love in your heart. Your core was created to pump God’s love. As you receive the love in and let it flow back out it effectively quickens every part of your life. For you to ever completely overcome you emotional agony you will need to pump the love of God through and through and it will cleanse and heal you. This is a process like the natural healing process and takes time and a good flow of blood. That’s why you need to keep your heart pure and free of things like bitterness and unforgiveness. It’s true that many times you have a right to be angry but how does that make you feel? Is it worth the pain and burden you carry around all day everyday? I plead with you on God’s behalf, “Let it go!” When your heart is broken everything hurts and everything’s harder and you feel helpless and hopeless. However He is the answer! If you had a blood disorder then the purifying of your blood would be the answer and if you have heart dis-ease the flow of His love is the solution. If you will focus on God and let Him dwell in your heart by faith and vigilantly resist all ill will then you will heal. The pain may not go away overnight but it will... eventually if you will commit to the process. And you may always have a scar and you can live with that but not with a bleeding heart. Time and God’s love will heal your wounds and the main thing you need to do is keep yourself free from the enemy’s infections and constantly receive God’s love injections. And you will be able to experience true love again because He is True and He is Love!

NKJV

James 3:13-18
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
