Work Harder or Smarter?

You can exhaust yourself trying and working as hard as you can or you can pray and obey. You can build a log house with an axe and some ladders or you can use a chainsaw and a crane. Power is preferred if you want to make progress. You may eventually get the job done using only your own strength but it would take a long time and be very tiring. This is how it is when you set out to do God’s will on your own. It’s not long after you chop down a few trees that you realize you need help. If you’re really stubborn you could spend years trying to accomplish what could be done in days if you would get the right equipment. And that’s exactly what grace is. It’s the power to do Gods work and fulfill His will. So what are you waiting for? “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Heb 4:16 NKJV
