We’re All Gonna Die!

The Lord said to me, “Preach to people like they are terminally ill.” If someone you knew was diagnosed terminal and incurable then how would you minister to them? ‘Then why aren’t you doing it now?” There’s no more time for wimpy wavering and beating around the bush you have to be bold and speak the truth in love. Because everyone is going to die eventually but most won’t be ready for it. People live like they are not going to die and like they have all the time in the world. But this life is like a puff of smoke compared to eternity. Knowing you will die and helps you live better. Life is more valuable when you know that you have a limited quantity. Savor it and do something with because this is your chance. This life is our eternal placement test and what we do now will matter forever. How we live so shall we die for there will not be time to change when the moment arrives. We don’t know the day or the hour. Death is like a pop quiz, when it comes you’re either ready or not. And in that hour the true life and character of every person will be revealed. So don’t wait for a terminal diagnosis before you get serious about living. Do it now! I’m telling you what you already know if you will accept it. Our days are numbered - this may be our last day, week, month or year but do we really believe it and act like it. Death is not really the thing to be concerned about but wasting life. So what will it be? Will you spend your life procrastinating, crying and dying to live or will you live like you’re gonna die?

Heb 9:27-28
27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.
NKJV

Rom 14:11-12
11 For it is written:

"As I live, says the Lord,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God."

12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.
NKJV

1 Cor 15:50-58
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed — 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."

55 "O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?"

56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
NKJV
