Wise?

Friends of fool’s make themselves mules, while ties to the wise make one rise.

Prov 13:20
20 Become wise by walking with the wise;
hang out with fools and watch your life fall to pieces.

Prov 3:35
35 Wise living gets rewarded with honor;
stupid living gets the booby prize.

Prov 10:1
10 Wise son, glad father;
stupid son, sad mother.

Prov 10:8
8 A wise heart takes orders;
an empty head will come unglued.

Prov 10:14
14 The wise accumulate knowledge — a true treasure;
know-it-alls talk too much — a sheer waste.

Prov 10:19
9 The more talk, the less truth;
the wise measure their words.

15 Fools are headstrong and do what they like;
wise people take advice.

18 Rash language cuts and maims,
but there is healing in the words of the wise.

10 Arrogant know-it-alls stir up discord,
but wise men and women listen to each other's counsel.

8 The wisdom of the wise keeps life on track;
the foolishness of fools lands them in the ditch.

16 The wise watch their steps and avoid evil;
fools are headstrong and reckless.

18 Foolish dreamers live in a world of illusion;
wise realists plant their feet on the ground.

24 The wise accumulate wisdom;
fools get stupider by the day.

2 Knowledge flows like spring water from the wise;
fools are leaky faucets, dripping nonsense.

12 Know-it-alls don't like being told what to do;
they avoid the company of wise men and women.

as long as they keep their mouths shut, they're smart.

wise children become proud parents.
25 So make your father happy!
Make your mother proud!

5 It's better to be wise than strong;
intelligence outranks muscle any day.
6 Strategic planning is the key to warfare;
to win, you need a lot of good counsel.
7 Wise conversation is way over the head of fools;
in a serious discussion they haven't a clue.

12 And a wise friend's timely reprimand
is like a gold ring slipped on your finger.
13 Reliable friends who do what they say
are like cool drinks in sweltering heat — refreshing!

Prov 29:15
15 Wise discipline imparts wisdom;
spoiled adolescents embarrass their parents.

Eccl 7:7
7 Brutality stupefies even the wise
And destroys the strongest heart.

Eccl 7:10
10 Don't always be asking, "Where are the good old days?"
Wise folks don't ask questions like that.

5 Carrying out orders won't hurt you a bit; the wise person obeys promptly and accurately.

The quiet words of the wise are more effective
Than the ranting of a king of fools.

2 Wise thinking leads to right living;

They're like nails hammered home, holding life together.
They are given by God, the one Shepherd.
