Is there anywhere in the Bible where it says God promises to make our life easy? In the years I’ve been reading it I haven’t found it. Jesus did say,
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Matt 11:28-30 NKJV
He said that we could have rest for our souls but we still have to wear a yoke and carry a burden. When you find what God has called you to do it’s not hard because you were created for it and are perfectly suited for it but it still requires effort and without His help you can’t do it at all. You have to be a dedicated disciple daily. It’s not easy in the sense that He just does it for you but because He trains you daily so you become a strong and a mighty over comer. Think of all the people in the Bible who served God – did they just meet Him and then He put them on Easy Street? They all had to resist temptation, fight battles and overcome adversity so if you really want to serve God do you think it should be any different for you? Stop looking for an easy way out and get busy working out. You will have to fight to live right everyday and the only way to make that fight easier is to make sure train like a dedicated disciple so that you WIN!
1 Cor 15:57-58
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
NKJV
1 Cor 15:58
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].

1 Cor 15:58
58 With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends, stand your ground. And don't hold back. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort.
