The Secret Ingredient

You can appreciate what’s on the outside when you have peace on the inside. The creation looks better when you are filled with the Life of the Almighty Creator. There’s just something that happens to people when they acknowledge and abide in God’s presence. You can see His light and love reflected in their eyes and attitude. Colors seem brighter, food tastes richer, people seem better and stress and worries fade into the background. When we realize Who is with us, living in us, watching over us, manifesting His grace and glory through us and His mighty power upon us then life is considerably enhanced. We begin to live in high definition with surround sound. Like sugar sweetens coffee and cookies and spices make ordinary food delightful and delicious the presence of God is the secret ingredient to living the good life. How can life be bland when we fellowship with and understand that it’s actually God Himself within - the awesome, infinite, Almighty and most interesting being in the universe. The glory of the entire creation is only a mini marvel compared to the One who created it and “we haven’t seen anything yet!” The One who made mountains majestic, oceans awe inspiring and the sun and stars shine bright above, lives in you and fills your heart with love. He is unlimited in ability, surpassing greatness, glorious in splendor, superabounding with everything that’s right, good, excellent and enjoyable! And He’s chosen you to be the object of His affection, “the apple of His eye” His constant companion and created you to contain the very essence and nature of His divinity. You are able to yield and be filled with all the fullness of God Himself. And when you are everything else is also Awesome!

Eph 3:14-21
14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge — that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

17 that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, 18 you'll be able to take in with all Christians the extravagant dimensions of Christ's love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! 19 Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.
