A Great Calm

In an emergency you are supposed to remain “calm” and that’s assuming that you were calm to begin with. But what happens if you were already agitated and then something happened that added more reason for panic? If you are in the pressure cooker and you don’t vent you will end up blowing up. God is always there for you. So you can always “vent” and pour out your heart to Him. He will give you peace, still your fears and calm your storm. If your looking for help you probably wont find it from the people in the same boat as you but if realize that the Lord Himself is with you then you will know where to go to get what you need.

Ps 62:8
Trust in Him at all times, you people;
Pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us.
NKJV

Ps 62:8
Trust in Him at all times, you people;
Pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us.
NKJV

Ps 62:8
8 So trust him absolutely, people;
lay your lives on the line for him.
God is a safe place to be.

Ps 62:8
8 Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

Matt 8:23-27 (CAPS. added)
23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. 24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. 25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save us! We are perishing!"

26 But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was A GREAT CALM. 27 So the men marveled, saying, "Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?"
